Hello! I know that some people on this board have only just found out they are pregnant, while some of us are getting close to the end of first tri (3 weeks to go!!!!). Does anyone else already know they will be considered high risk for this pregnancy? Anyone already seeing/ had met with an MFM yet this pregnancy? I thought maybe we could chat and check in with each other along the way.
I’m 10 weeks 4 days or something like that. I saw an MFM for ultrasounds and a fetal echo when I was pregnant with my son. I told the people at my new OB office this when I went for my dating ultrasound and they said I will likely be referred out during this pregnancy as well due to my epilepsy. I think some guidelines have changed since I was pregnant with my first, and I might need followed more closely this time but I’m not sure. They still haven’t set up an appointment or referral yet, though. I know my first consult with the MFM last time was around week 13.
Anyway, anyone else in this high risk boat win me yet?

They had me see the MFM when we first started trying after some testing came back for possible clotting issues. I don't know if I have to see them for the pregnancy though.

I think I will most likely end up seeing a MFM. With DS I was considered high risk due to AMA, but that just meant I had my ultrasounds at a perinatologist.
This time due to age, donor gametes, and if it's twins I think I'll be in this boat as well.
