DD loved the activity saucer at first then realized it was holding her back (aka she couldn't move like she wanted) and decided it was a prison.

addymac, my niece has an activity saucer and she's obsessed with it, so another vote for that one.

king26 I have the grumpiest baby at 7 weeks. It's the second leap Likes for love *hugs* king26 and @starzia! D. is gearing up for her 2nd leap as well, still battling a nasty snotty nose and just finished a growthspurt. She's not crabby all the time (thankfully) but definitely grumphier then I've ever seen her. Sunday through yesterday she cried so much and didn't want to be anywhere else but with me or MH.. mostly me since I got the boobs. Not that she'd drink all and everytime, but she needed to be on or near them nonetheless. It's both flattering and cute <3 as a bit too much hah.

M has pooped three times today. Stahhp. My M poops about 5 times a day 😂 Add D. to the list of professional frequent pooper. Though yesterday for some reason she didn't poop at all until late at night. Which of course makes me worried right away, even though I know tis normal and okay for them to not necessarily poop like that every day. Then when she finally did poop she had cramps for the first time in days.. poor lil one. We were sure she was filling up another diaper but when MH went to change her it was empty still so it was just gas apperently. Which made us feel so sorry for her cause man she was farting like no tomorrow, so loud and such big farts.. that must have hurted

Liking our M's ! But my M doesn't consistently poop daily. So this is different. Also she's been non stop BF last 3 days. So more milk=more poop D. pooped consistently till she didn't. Reminded me so much of ohhhh pretty much everything in this journey.. things are normal one way till they aren't. I've always liked the term new normal.. and seems fitting for my baby as well. I've said "normally she does x or so but then today...." LOL like she has a normal Things change up pretty much every so many days hah. Speaking of normals. Having her around feels sooooo normal and like she's always been here, not just 7 weeks, regardless of how new or confusing or whatever things are at the same time. Anyone else feels like that? I love it but it also is just so weird.

I'm not caught up with all the posts in this thread, sorry! Hope I didn't miss anything I should have read/know! So after 3 rough days with 2 sleepless nights, D. let me sleep an almost solid 6hours today. Thank you sweetie! I needed that. She woke me up with her grunts and some screams around 6. I got up to pee and have a drink, then when I went to get her she had fallen back asleep. Tis 7am now. I hope she wakes up soon cause my boobs are killing me .. I think tis time to start sleeping with nursing pads cause the leaking has changed from drops to soaking through 2 layers of clothing lol. Since D. is still sleeping and I was wide awake I decided to grab the laptop I borrowed from my dad and set it up for use. I'm tired of doing everything on my phone! Tapa is great for reading and quick comments and what not but replying and typing up longer things on my phone, ugh. It's seriously confused from my switching backnforth between Dutch and English and even though I got autocorrect turned off it keeps wanting to change words into the other language

The other day, I was reading an old photo book with DS1 and there was a pic of me, dh, and DS1 from about a year ago. DS1 immediately asked, "Where's baby Henry?"

addymac another vote for the activity saucer. DS loved his. In fact, I pulled it out last winter for a friend to borrow and he still thought it was fun at 1.5.

Um. So. P slept from 10:30-6:30, nursed, fell back asleep around 7:15, and is still sleeping at 9:40. I don’t even know what to do with myself right now 😮

Anybody who BFs feel like when your home and not out doing something, your LO wants to just live on the boob? If she isn't sleeping or hanging out in the swing she basically will only sit with me for a few minutes unless nursing. Ugh I appreciate the sweet snuggles but so tiring some days. I know I can wear her around the house but sometimes your back needs a break too. 😩

When she keeps spitting it out and fussing, then I know she’s actually hungry.

Ugh. We woke up this morning to water leaking in through the windows in the dining room from the rainstorms last night / this morning. Excellent 😒
Adulting is the worst sometimes.
I really need N to nap for longer so I can finish all these damn phone calls with insurance ugh! Baby!!

So I went to lunch with a friend today. I was having major anxiety but I did it and j and DH werenfine. We were only gone 1.5 hours but I worried. I need this feeling to go away.
The past 2 days j has woken up, eaten, and then screamed and cried until he falls asleep several times during the day. Is this normal? Is this the peak fussiness they keep talking about? I'm hoping it goes away soom, it's killing me to see him cry with years running down his cheeks.

king26, I have anxiety any time I'm away from M which is more often than I'd like because of school. I actually think I may have pp anxiety because I worry so much. But I also don't know what a normal amount of worry is, so... 🤷 I'm glad you went to lunch though, you definitely need and deserve time to yourself. Do you think J might have digestive stuff that is making him cry so much? We started giving M a probiotic to help her be less crampy and it seems to have helped. I also give her gas drops after some of her feedings if she seems extra fussy.

It's frustrating because I wish she could just snuggle with me and hang out without having to nurse.

She said it will take 2 weeks to regulate. I do think it's digestive . I give had drops buy not probiotics. Which ones do you give?

I know I'm late but addymac I had the forest jumper for DS1 and he didn't car for. This time around we got the saucer, that one. I also have another bouncer too we got from someone, so I may try that.

I actually got the idea of the probiotic from this board. I also give h gas drops at his last feeding before bed and in the am becuase he is super fussy. I use to think it was reflux and he is on med for that. Our pedi recommended culturelle (sp) but I know there are quite a few!

Doctors appointment today was exhausting. My toddler was a pain and of course I had to keep it cool.
Baby did great 12.5lbs and 23 inches. He grew 2 inches and gained 2.5lbs in 5weeks. It amazes me how different my boys are in their growth patterns.
Everything else checked out great. He tracked and smiled for her. She also had him do tummy time with her and held his head great. So relieved since I have bad anxiety about milestones.
Both boys got shots. Hudson his 2 month and DS1 got the flu. There was a lot of screAming and crying. It was rough, but we all survived.
Now I'm trying to get both. It's to nap so I can have a break.

I have a sponsored post to do and J woul dnt stop crying so dh is wearing him in the infant carrier so I can cook and photograph. I'm so happy he offered. He's on the ball today having me go to lunch and now wearing him. Not to mention it's adorable seeing him wear j in the carrier. I'm hoping the fussiness is gone when he wakes up. He has like several Good days then several fussy. It's a toss up and I know he's in a growth spurt and coming into a leap. Sucks for the poor guy

Does anyone else have issues with Tapatalk randomly not showing posts and skipping pages? I only realize it’s happening because i’ll see someone quote & respond to a post I never saw. Then i’ll go on web view and see it. Super frustrating 😒
