It's AMAZING what happens when a smart, reasonable person goes out there and answers press questions. Even when the questions are tough or even provocative, the whole thing doesn't devolve into an amateur mudslinging match I actually disagree. He did exactly what SHS does every day. Personally, I didn't think he was straight up nasty to them the way she is.

Was he gaslighting? Absolutely. Was 99% of it bullshit? Yes. Did he give non-answers? Sure thing. But even with the few little digs he threw in the tone was completely different than those of Sean and Sarah

What keeps you awake at night? "A nuclear threat from NK, a possible nuclear threat, in time, by the Iranians. Probably the biggest concern, and it's not an immediate concern, if this continues in NK--if, eventually, other countries (I'll let it go at that) become nuclear powers--could be a real impetus for a lot of countries to develop or buy nuclear weapons...I hear [POTUS] most say, about nuclear weapons, 'Wouldn't it be great if we could get rid of them all,' as opposed to wanting an increase." Pretty sure when 45 days "Wouldn't it be great if we could get rid of them all," he's not talking about the nuclear weapons themselves. I'd say chances are higher he's talking about the North Koreans, the Iranians, etc. Kelly might be hearing what he wants to hear there.

my suspicion is that NBC and Kelly are both telling the truth. Trump said, "Why can't we just make everyone get rid of all their nukes?" And Mcmattilly said, "Sir, that's not remotely possible." So he said, "Then I want us to have ten times as many as we have now." That's what I think.

This is important
Russian meddling extended into pokemon go
full disclosure - I never played pokemon go. I did everything I could to avoid pokemon when my oldest was into it in the 90's/early 00's and I to this day avoid it when my youngest talks about it.

Just in case you weren't aware. When 12 fighter jets fly over your office at a lower than normal altitude, its really loud. And windows in your 40 year old office building rattle. (there is an airshow this weekend and they were practicing or something)

WHY? Why do you want Americans to live in less than 3rd world conditions?

WHY? Why do you want Americans to live in less than 3rd world conditions? Probably the same assholes who voted against Sandy aid. (Who will then turn around and ask for aid when the next natural disaster hits their state.)

Kelly may have more charm than SHS in delivery, but I've gotta say, reading this shit back in print is just as infuriating. Reads like patronizing bullshit to me. Agreed, it reads like 100% bullshit to me.

He may be slightly less off putting, but I'm not awarding Kelly any gold stars for anything. It was all either lies or terrifying, or both.

They should have to pass a simple quiz about the subject they are voting on before they are allowed to vote yay or nay. I mean, WTF. We would be better off letting a room full of monkeys vote randomly.

I actually disagree. He did exactly what SHS does every day. I dont know if it was because it was that he wasnt calling on the 'typical' reporters but he DID give better answers without the snark. Even his non-answers were given without the attitude. Its like SHS always appears to give a huge mental SIGGGGGGGGGGGGH before answering a question like she is better than them. I mean....he'd probably have a different attitude if this was his day job. He's done it once.

Not smart or reasonable. I guess I assume we will never get straight answers out of Trump's White House, so if they're going to lie to us, they don't have to talk to us like we're a nuisance. Not that I'm excusing them lying to the public. It's terrible and they should all be banished

He didn't start 3/4 of his sentences with siiiigggh "well look" or "look" or "I've already covered this" or " WE can walk and chew gum" which yes but its the press they are literally trying to get you to spill so they are going to ask you it over and over and see if you change your answer. Its their thing. I don't know. Its like listening to my kid when shes trying to make up excuses. And for the record that annoys the shit out of me too. At least I'm able to correct her. I'm not nominating him for Press Sec of the Year or anything but he at least sounded like he knew his shit (except for the India/terrorism/are we allies with them question). She doesnt always come across that way to me which then forces the attitude.
