Hey, I'm 10 weeks, due May 6th, have a 5 year old boy and an adorable dog. DS has been begging for a baby sibling since he saw Boss Baby but we're not going to tell him until I'm a month out. We TFAS on and off over the past 2 1/2 years. I'm a pediatric nurse. I occasionally float to NICU and an adult ICU and I'm trying to get more experience in ante/postpartum. I work nights and it kind of sucks right now because I have trouble day sleeping, but I'm stuck with it at least until I go on maternity leave. I use to like things like reading, cooking, organizing, kayaking, making things, but now I just really like sleep. This is literally me at all times:  I didn't join my son's BMB until after he was born, so I'm looking forward to being a part of one early on. |

Wow - Waiting til you’re a month out: do you think that’ll be possible? I’m waiting to tell my 2 yo DD until I’ve announced to everyone in another month but I’m already paranoid she’s going to pick up on discussions around the house.!

Hello! Welcome! Wow - Waiting til you’re a month out: do you think that’ll be possible? I’m waiting to tell my 2 yo DD until I’ve announced to everyone in another month but I’m already paranoid she’s going to pick up on discussions around the house.! He doesn't really get time and I don't think he'll pick up on it. He asked every day for 8 months if it was time for his birthday party and it led to a lot of meltdowns explaining time. If he does pick up on it sooner, hopefully it doesn't end up like that. |

Whenever I see a pregnant nurse, I feel so bad for how much they have to be on their feet. You've got a busy couple months ahead of you!

He has autism so things are a little different for him. |
