We just got home from a BBQ at my mom's. Had my 1st lobster of the summer. I may need to make some brownies tonight

I'm currently enjoying a glass of wine while I wait for the pie I just made to cool. I'm too impatient to wait for desserts to cool!

AW pic of said pie. It is a triple berry peach pie. I'm pretty sure it will be soupy. And it was my first time doing a lattice crust, so it looks a bit sketch. But I've been picking at it, and it tastes delicious. Even if it is more soup than pie 😂

I just removed all the sand from the sand and water table because fuck sand. It's now a water table only

Heading to Target for the second time today. Solo trip this time! They have a spend 50 get $10 or 100 and get $25 in toys and sporting goods. (PSA) The whole family went earlier and we saw something awesome for DS1's birthday.

I almost took a picture of this pea salad last night, but I couldn't do it without insulting the cook. It was peas, mayo, hard boiled eggs and paprika. I decided no one needed to see that, but it still sounds better than left out ham.

Sand is the effing worst!! The previous owner of our house built a stupid sand box in the backyard. I'm pretty sure I'm going to turn it into a garden bed soon.

We just finished an early dinner- steak, zucchini, and green onions from the grill, with BBQ baked beans and a big fruit salad. It was all so good, but I definitely ate too much.

MH wants to take DD out for ice cream, so I skipped the booze to save calories.

Now my mom is making dinner and made a cheesecake for my birthday cake. It's the best.

elsiemae Your pie looks beautiful, and the combo of fruit you put in there sounds delightful. Just scoop some warm pie into a bowl and add a scoop of ice cream. It'll be perfection.

Hi lovelies. We had a good day. We went to MIL and had a cookout and was outside the majority of the day. No nap for DD so I'm hoping bedtime will be a breeze. She's wore out, and so am I.

Maybe it's just me, but a ham sandwich for lunch after a long morning on the beach sounds delicious. Cook the ham at home and pack the slices in a cooler.
