We got rained out so the Smores will be done over the stove. We are watching dolphin tale and I am ready for bed already and it's not even 5.

I cleaned, took a 2 hour nap, went out for lunch, took DS to the park and then we sat by the river to eat our ice cream. I'm making chilli for dinner. 'Lax day over here.

I made it to Costco but they didn't have the wagon I wanted 😔 Got a tower fan and a picnic blanket instead. And holy busy, I've never been to a more crowded costco, why so many people at 2pm on a Monday???

I just sent my H on a pregnancy craving errand and I feel bad but he is so damn excited. What is he after? Broccoli cheddar soup (Panera), Turkey and Provolone Sub (Jersey Mike's) and some Milk Duds. It is one of those rare hungry moments so I am just going to lean into it. |

Memorial Day was a bust.
It literally rained on our parade and I ended up making taco salad instead of the grilling that I planned on.
Probably a beer later since I have a lot of calories left.

We had a really good weekend visiting family and friends. It was actually worth the 12 hours of driving with a toddler.
Not ready to go back to real life tomorrow.

I drank enough over the last two weeks (two destination weddings back to back) to last me a long time. Water tonight it is. I'm doing laundry and trying to unpack. I need everything back to normal asap.
