So the other day I got a BFP. (before my missed period). Roughly about 3-4 months ago (in June) I had an early miscarriage-probably about 6 weeks or so.
Right now I am completely early on in THIS pregnancy, and ALSO completely anxious. Obviously DH knows, but he is so not excited and doesn't want me to dwell on it at all. I know the major part of the reason was he was devastated with the miscarriage, so he is pretty much not wanting to get his hopes up.
Of course I am anxious and excited. If this one sticks and works out, my due date is June 13th.
I actually mentioned to DH the other day that every conversation at work lately that I am hearing has some sort of pregnancy content in it. (From people that aren't pregnant!). For example, some described that we were one month down in school, only 9 more to go-and another co worker mentioned it is the same length of a pregnancy. But I have been hearing those references for the last few days as well.

Congratulations and welcome! Sending sticky vibes your way. I hope as time goes on, your DH gets more comfortable and you guys are able to celebrate. Early pregnancy when PGAL is stressful and hard to enjoy sometimes but big yay for a BFP

Congrats and welcome! I’m sorry about your husband but mine was the same way. It’s just a self defense mechanism. As you get farther along he’ll come around. For mine, it wasn’t until around 11-12 weeks after our third good u/s.

For mine, it wasn’t until around 11-12 weeks after our third good u/s. Oh I know. And I am not upset with him at all about how cautious he is being. But at the same time I am excited and trying to relax a little bit. I'll call the on sometime this week since technically I didn't miss my period until tomorrow.

Congrats!
Early pregnancy is terrifying. I’ll be honest, I was an anxious mess for the entire first tri, and my H didn’t really start to get involved and excited until probably closer to third tri. It’s tough.
Best of luck to you!

Congratulations and welcome!
Being PgAL is so hard and on men, too.
There are some mantras pinned to the top of the board that, as silly as it seems, helped me a lot.
Grow, baby, grow!

Welcome, friend! MrRama didn't start getting more excited than anxious until after our 8 week scan. Even then, he didn't really feel "comfortable" until we passed the magical 12 week mark. I hope your H comes around soon. Stick baby, stick!!
