How far along are you? 15w! How are you feeling? Tired, mostly. Sometimes moody. Have any important dr. appts? October 16th with the OB and then November 3rd for the a/s!
QOTW: When you were young, what was your dream job? I shit you not, I wanted to be a mom. That's the only thing I've ever wanted to be, since I was five. Every other job I thought of never held a candle.

Hi ladies!
Daisy, so excited for you. FX for a smooth transfer! Birch, so happy your lining is cooperating! Jense, that is great your c-section scar is healing well. Hoosiermama, good luck starting!
Rooting for all you ladies!
AFM, A is 2 months old already. It's gone by so quickly. He's an awful sleeper and hates to be put down. But he's super sweet and things are slowly getting to a better place.
Pic behind spoiler. Pdq

N is almost 8 months old. He amazes me daily. I'm beyond grateful to have him in our lives. He tries to stand, has 6 going on 8 teeth already, can't figure out crawling but has really taken to solid foods recently. He's just so happy. Loves to smile and laugh.
I think of all you ladies often, but with the move I lost track of so many.

How far along are you? 23 weeks How are you feeling? Mostly great, some mild pregsonmia a few time a week and I'm starting to feel "big". Have any important dr. appts? Regular OB appointment on Thursday.
QOTW: Never had any strong desire for any real career path when I was little. I ran the gamut between teacher, astronaut, music therapy and others until my senior year of high school. I went to college for a business degree but still not sure what I wanted to do with it.

Hi ladies. I hope all are well and enjoying the start of fall. I still stalk the updates and hope for the best for each of you. For those of you having it rough right now, sending all kinds of internet *hugs* and positive thoughts your way.
As for us... The twins turn 2 next Saturday! So hard to imagine! Overall, both are doing great in their own ways. Isla is a little charter bug these days, adding to her vocabulary daily. Ciaran is following behind at his own pace, but catching up more and more each day.
We did have a lousy weekend -- one for the record books. Ciaran pulled out his gtube button for the first time on Saturday (it has been in over a year, so pretty remarkable it was only the first time). We tried to put it back in but couldn't get it.Took him to local hospital ER and they couldn't get it. Ended up at the regional children's hospital. With some effort, a few tricks & more than a little screaming, they got it back in. But... While there, the doc did not like the sound of his cough and ordered a chest xray. Turns out his cold has turned into pneumonia since our visit to the pediatrician last Thursday! As the doc put it, the gtube was a fortuitous accident. So, after 7 hours between 2 hospitals, we came home with an unexpected diagnosis and new antibiotics. Not how we expected Saturday to go.
Now Isla is coming down with the cold -- coughed all night last night. I am optimistic it will not turn in to pneumonia for her as her immune system has always been much more robust than her brother's, but still not going to be fun for a few days at least.
And to top it all off, our 18 year old cat (I have had her since she was a month old and I was still in college) started peeing blood on Sunday. Vet can't see her until late this afternoon, but I am hoping just a nasty bladder infection.
All-in-all, it was a weekend I would rather forget.
QOTW: I never really had a career path in mind as a child. I thought veterinarian for while. Astronaut (loved Space Camp, but claustrophobic, so no...). Thought maybe a shrink for while. Author (I still write fiction as a hobby). Archaeologist was long in the back of my mind. I sort of followed the last one... I got my first MA in archaeology, but got stumped on how to make a living. Got a second MA and am now resident archaeologist at a museum -- mostly a ceremonial title as I do not work in the field, but I do educate museum visitors about archaeology, so there's that.
