I'm 14 weeks pregnant and I haven't told my supervisor yet... My goal is to send him an email this weekend. When I was pregnant with C, I started a new job at 25ish weeks and did not tell them until my coworkers noticed - it was a big company and I had already made sure with HR that I would be able to ise short term disability. With O we were at a special lunch and my supervisor was sitting next to me and casually asked if I was planning to have more kids. I was 20 weeks and was like "Oh, it's a boy, due in August..."

I rely on baths to kill time with my children. I used to hate bathtime. Our bathroom is so small and windowless. But lately I've taken to rewarding myself by bringing a beer into the bathroom, my phone or a new book. Or some combination of the aforementioned. E plays and entertains himself for the most part. Now I enjoy myself much more.

I infamously broke a wine glass in the bathroom while H was quite small and in the tub. It was a bad situation. Now I use plastic when I'm in tile situations.

Why am I so dumb? I used to be like, "This is strictly bathtime! Let's focus on washing you and playing with your bath toys!" Now I'm all, "You do you and I'll be on the toilet, drinking a beer and reading my true crime novel."

She comes out of the bath sooner than M, but then climbs all over me. Totally gets in the way of my beer time.

Now H and M are old enough that I leave them in there all the time to fight and play. However, I don't have a big bath tub to worry about. grumpycakes, I usually sit on my stool, on my phone, and call out, "please wash your crotch!!" every 90 seconds or so. AW photo of my children in their bath. H has only just started complaining about the lack of space...

I totally used to give R a bath every night just so I could sit and relax. But now with a tiny one who gets super angry at baths and also likes to be nursing and in his pjs at that particular time of day, it's really cut back.

We used to put both in the shower, wash them down, then let them play.
Then we just sit back and relax for 5 to 10 minutes.

Speaking of... underpants. I wear a uniform. The pants are dark blue BDU style. I don't have enough pants (provided by work) to change everyday and Im not saying I would if I could. I work all night- race home, and drop trou and bounce into bed for a few min if DS isn't at the top of the stairs to greet me. Then yoga pants to take him to school. More than once is the occasion when Ive slammed the uniform on, come to work and felt something extra bulky at my sock/ top of the boot area... only to find its underpants I need to slyly grab and hide in my bag or pocket on my way to the office... so the tl, dr is: I change my underpants every day, not my work pants. Underwear more often than Id like to admit- comes along for a ride.
