I ate entirely too much Checkers after work last night and feel like crap this morning. I feel like I need to do a fruit and veggie only day to flush my system. Which I don't think is actually how the digestive system works, but it sounds good in my head. oh I love checkers! We don't have any here but when I visit my grandfather in SC I look forward to checkers the most! ... well and seeing my papa

We don't have Dunkin here but there is a Krispy Kreme by my house. I love Krispy Kreme - I was so sad when the one by us closed. There is a dunkin in a nearby city but too far away to drive just for a donut.
I had to settle for a Kwik Trip dunker - it's not the best but it sure ain't terrible.
One of the grocery stores in our town makes AMAZING donuts, but I didn't feel like stopping there before work.
I apparently have a lot of donut feels haha.

I forgot about donut day. I overheard my boss saying that a coworker was bringing donuts in and I was trying to figure out why. That must be it. Lol

I got donuts from Wegmans this morning. Nomnomnom. Also my pregnancy hormones are whack right now. A student wrote me this and I legit teared up reading it. I mean, I love when they like me and my class, but to cry over two sentences? I'm losing it, guys.

I'm desperate to find a hair tie. For my pants. They are already feeling tight, and it's usually the end of the day before I'm uncomfortable. Of course, this didn't stop me from helping myself to the Krispy Kreme in the break room. It may be time for some maternity pants. Or at least a belly band.

I had a dream last night that my arm was hurting - so in my dream, I kept changing seats, so I could lean a certain way. Woke up to realize that my arm was in a weird position in real life and that was why it was hurting in my dream - bizarre.

I live near KK and DD. #doughnutblessed
I prefer a local place, though. They have the best strawberry frosted doughnuts.

I can't go there anymore ... found this earlier. Wow. I threw a party for after the baby was born. Meet and greet. It wasn't a gift occasion, but a few people brought a gift. They likely would have anyway. It also saved on having random visitors for weeks. ETA: I felt like that was the less tacky way to throw a party for your new kid. It wasn't specifically a gift giving event like a shower. I just wanted to celebrate the new kid.

I want to tell everyone to fuck off right now. I slept well and didn't take any sleep medicine last night so I don't know why I am so ragey. I am hiding in my old office because co-worker was singing and then had a meeting on her cube. She rudely ask me if I do anything yesterday. Bitch.

you meet and greet is totally different. She was talking about a full baby shower like with expected gifts and stuff.

So annoying but saves on buying maternity pants for a bit.

Now someone told me I was wrong that babies need 40 weeks in utero. *slams head on desk* I brought in the research/recommendations of the ACOG.

grumpycat omg 75%??! Crazy people. Speaking of, my MIL and I had a long conversation about subsequent baby showers after the first since we both got facebook invites to her nieces shower. For her second child. And there was bring diapers and wipes all over the place. It was tacky as shit. Thankfully MIL and I are on the same page for once. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This reminds me of the woman on a local FB mom's group complaining that her OB wouldn't induce at 36w because she was "omg soooo uncomfortable". Hi! Having a baby is uncomfortable! Oh and your kid ideally needs 39-40 weeks as per multiple medical sources unless you need to be induced for a MEDICAL reason not because you are uncomfortable. I would have loved to give DS two more weeks in utero. I also would have loved to skip the preterm labor ×3. I'm sure my cousin would have loved to give her 32 weeker 8 more weeks in utero instead of 8 weeks in the NICU. You are allowed to be excited obviously but let your baby grow. This is all sorts of a trigger for me.

I'll admit to 2 donuts today ... but in my defense, one was free! Plus, while I'm usually not eating for 3, what better day to indulge than donut day (and a Friday)!

I didn't have any doughnuts today. I didn't realize how much my town is lacking in doughnut places until today. Maybe I'll get take out for dinner to make up for it.

Night shift tonight. I really don't mind doing them but it's the lack of internet that gets to me (and I get really tired around 2am)
Between the hours of 12am-6am we are really quiet, all we do is jobs around the nursing home and answer any residents calls, we do get a 2 hour break (I try to nap) but other than that we are just sat in our nurses station for 6 hours... with no internet.
The place is terrible for no service or data to connect to anything. They do have internet there, but refuse to give it out to the staff as the day staff take the piss with it. But cmon let us poor night staff have the code!!!
I've tried hunting for the internet box multiple times. Cannot find it 😓

I turned down my free doughnut at Dunkin yesterday because I was there for a bagel twist. I was proud of my willpower to not eat both! Then, last night I fell down the stairs. I hit my head, back, and elbow, and I'm super sore today.
