So I've been having some discomfort in my lower abdomen about an inch above my pubic bone. I'm assuming it's my uterus stretching? probably. I had something like that last week and it turned out I just had to poop. If it gets worse call your doctor though.

DH is bringing a chocolate ice cream milkshake home from work for me. I am counting down the minutes until he is due home. I may or may not be also ringing/texting every minute to make sure he isn't late. well now I need a chocolate milkshake

Thanks, I wouldn't call it pain or cramps just a dull sensation hence why I figured it was just stretching. I'll use it as an excuse to take it easy tonight 😉 and see how I am tomorrow. I am still debating on switching OBs. I should have done it before I got pregnant. I'll wait until I get the test results back.

you if you're going to switch do it ASAP. I switched in third tri due to a cross country move and it was a pain in the ass. Some OBs won't take new patients that far along either. quinn glad Everything is ok! +1 to crampy. And headaches. I think mine is also water intake related. Just refilled my 20 oz bottle and am sitting on the couch. The hip pain today is legit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The toy room has been cleared out and organized. I ended up sending the kids downstairs because they were more of a hindrance than help. Most of the discard pile is made up of fast food toys and board books that turned into chew toys.

So glad everything is okay, quinn. Sorry you had to go through that! grumpycat, hibiscus tea has been alleged to increase your risk of miscarriage but there hasn't been any concrete evidence to back up the claim. I usually avoid it just to be safe.

I'm glad things look good, quinn! Sorry you had a scare. I got my first baby gift today. My coworker brought in some swaddle blankets for me. She said she was at target and couldn't resist. It was really sweet of her, but it made me feel panicky. Having baby stuff in the house freaks me out.

Had an OB appt today and everything was good. He checked my cervix (ugh) but it so far remains competent, so that's all we can ask for. We decided to not start my 17p (makena but not really) shots until my next appt at 19w. They can be started any time between 16 and 20 weeks and I am not quite 16w. That makes me a little happy since I wasn't psyched all the way up to start them yet.
I didn't pee my pants today and I didn't murder anyone so all around it was a good day.

How do I stop the gagging? Any time I eat, I gag, and it's triggering throwing up. I'm 15w2d and it is getting old!!!

I need some adult advice.
J is starting new treatment soon. Hopefully tomorrow. My husband has tickets for both of us to a concert about three hours away in two weeks. His parents said they can watch J. We would be gone overnight or stupidly drive home really late. We could drive part of the way and get a hotel. Should we try to sell our tickets now or wing it? They aren't cheap. This is a bucket list item for my husband.
I was going to list this yesterday and chickened out today.

It does seem important to your DH, though. Is it a once in a lifetime thing or could he go to a similar concert another time? Basically, if you are both confident in not wanting to go- sell now. If it is a once in a lifetime thing for your DH- hold on to them as long as you can/go if possible.

Maybe soon I should start a STM+ thread with which baby gear we recommend or not, for you FTMs.

This afternoon I was driving along the highway and blew past a school bus going the opposite direction with its lights flashing and stop sign out. In my defense (which isn't much of one), there was a semi stopped in the center lane and the bus was kind of behind it so I didn't even see. But the bus driver honked, I slammed on my brakes but by that time I was already passed the bus so I kept going. Ugh. I cringe every time it pops into my head. I just keep imagining the worst that could have happened, and my kids were with me so I keep thinking of them being on the bus. Ugh. I feel like such an idiot.

You guys were so chatty today and I was so busy quinn so glad everything was ok! Yay for all the food talk. The only thing of note I had today was an egg mcmuffin. thatgolfb yes, start a list! Best and worst stuff would be great. I know everyone is different etc, but I like to know anyway and need stuff to put on my registry! I had a massage this morning, so that was nice, but a super busy day at work and a board meeting tonight has offset any lingering relaxation!
