I enjoy watching Tiny House shows. H and I just watched one with a couple building a sheepherder's wagon at 84sqft. There is no way. These shows kill me. "We're a family of 6 and want a 200 sq ft house where everyone will have their own rooms plus a dining table to seat all of us and full size kitchen appliances." lol Exactly! I tell H that we would need 3, one for the kids, one for us, and one for the common area (kitchen, dining, living) with a bathroom in each. But then we may as well stay in our house 😂 They had a porta-potty a foot from their bead and stove!

Bagged milk is such a weird concept. I'd love to make a joke about it, but given America's current political climate and lack of maternity leave, I seriously want to live in Canada, so instead I'll offer hair pats. Milk bags are awesome! I know it sounds hilarious, but they're so functional. Instead of one giant jug for a gallon, it's split into three bags so you're not wrangling the same amount of weight. The bags can go in the freezer so you can buy it on sale and save for later. Bags can be reused in lunches, perfect width for sandwiches. I have strong feelings about milk bags. Clearly. I watched a video on milk bags, mind blown.

For a brief time when I was in elementary school our district switched from boxed milk for lunches to milk in plastic pouch/bags. Then kids figured our how to stick the straw all the way through and blow them up like balloons. Then they stopped buying those. I love the idea of freezing it. So smart.

What's funny, cnf, is that we sell milk in bags for homes but I have never seen these lunch packs people talk about all the time. I've only ever seen freshie or similarly horrifying "juice" (sugar water) in those pouches here.

I finally got my maternity clothes from the attic and have started washing them. I got two pair of gap jeans, one full panel and one not. I ended up going down a size on one because they were so loose in my size at first so basically I have one pair for the first part of my pregnancy and one pair for the last.

J is back at the damn ER with my husband. They are allowing them to come home. He has an appointment tomorrow and we get to see what his doctors say.

MH left a bag of milk out on the counter and I almost cried when I got home and saw it because I was preemptively stressing out about having to go get more this week when solo parenting all. fucking. week. So today has gone well. I'm better now that I have eaten and DD is in bed. Bagged milk is such a weird concept. I'd love to make a joke about it, but given America's current political climate and lack of maternity leave, I seriously want to live in Canada, so instead I'll offer hair pats. Come live on the west coast, no milk bags here!

Happy back to work day, everyone.
I have a half day today because of the world's most awkwardly timed OB appointment. I still went to school at 630 this morning to put together sub stuff that I forgot about on Friday in my excitement over a much needed long weekend. I'm home now though, just ran a couple miles. Now to shower and chill a bit before I have to go. Then on my way to work I'm planning to stop by the most amazing sandwich shop in the city to get myself lunch. So I'm looking forward to a lovely day at least.

I have no idea what milk bags are, I'm assuming milk in literal bags?
We just have milk in plastic containers (jugs, I don't know lol) and cartons lol
Milk bags just seems very messy in my head
And also remind me of boobs

Baby's heart rate is 145 and she's moving all around. My uterus is already up to my belly button despite only being 15+3. No wonder I look big already, yeesh.

Another headache today. Tons of congestion, puffy eyes, did not sleep well, etc. F this. I'm attempting to work from home but looking at a computer screen is most definitely making the headache worse.
Anyone have any tricks besides tylonel and fluids? I purposely only take one, but I am going to take two today.

Sorry grumpycat, I got hit with that last week. Can you take a half sick day and take a nap? That's what helped me (other than Tylenol and water).

My friend who recently had a baby gave me a huge bag of maternity clothes to borrow. I'm so excited to try them on! The sizes look a little bigger than what I usually wear but I'm guessing at least some tops will work, and hoping some pants can work, too since that's what I really need. For those looking for maternity shorts, I bought these in two colors and think they should get me through the summer. I like that there is no belly panel, hoping that will keep them cooler, but I know some of you do like the panels. www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=1032278&vid=1&pid=687455002

I purposely only take one, but I am going to take two today. I have had daily headaches the last week and a half and the only things that seems to help are Tylenol and a can of Coke (or caffeinated beverage of choice). They are really something. Anytime I change elevation my brain feels like it's going to pulse out of my skull. I'm very sorry you are suffering, too. As far as congestion, the neti pot worked well for me when I was pregnant with DS. It's gross, but oddly satisfying. I am the last person to ask about sleep because I haven't slept through the night more than a handful of times in the last month.

AnnPerkins I thought I was going crazy that just standing up was enough to trigger the pulsing. doxiemama I'm back in bed. I gave up on work. I was getting annoyed at stupid stuff and wasn't being productive.

I'm making Mary Berry's lemon meringue pie for the first time. Here's hoping it works since it's sort of DH's late birthday cake.

I think I added too much cornstarch to the lemon and didn't whip my meringue enough. Oh well, that's what these tests are for.

I fell asleep for a couple hours immediately after a cup of coffee lol. I feel better and I may steal some of DH's soda.
I'm definitely going to bring it up to my OB because I feel like having a headache 4-5 days out of the week isn't normal. I'm decent about keeping hydrated too.
