Just helping out unless someone with a 3-6 month old wants to do this. I don't mind. How old is your LO? How frequently are you nursing? How are nights going? What do you like to do while breastfeeding? Any questions/rants/raves??

Thanks, Risscaboobs! Just got the tag. I can take over next week! 1) 4.5m 2) Weekday - wake-Up, right after work, bedtime. Weekend - every 2-4 hours 3) she mostly sleeps through, but has recently been waking up once around 3ish, but goes right back down. If she doesn't wake, i usually have to wake to pump 4) fart around on my phone... I mean, lovingly gaze at my baby. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Hi there! Its 11pm, and I'm waiting for LO to wake up, and debating trying to dream feed. (He always wakes up right after I go to bed dammit!) Anyway, I wandered over from Jan17, and wanted to introduce myself, I hope thats ok.
How old is your LO? 4.5 months
How frequently are you nursing? Every 3-4 hours
How are nights going? Usually 2 wake ups, but he goes right back to sleep.
What do you like to do while breastfeeding? Eat. I've been reading on my phone, as its easier to turn pages than a real book.
Any questions/rants/raves?? LO has been pulling off and crying while arching his back. I'm not sure if it's pain or frustrstion. Supply seems fine, flow seems ok.

Thanks Risscaboobs! How old is your LO? 4.5m How frequently are you nursing? Ugh, CONSTANTLY, hah. How are nights going? Some good, some tough. She was underweight for a long time, and I think is still doing her best to catch up; she has been eating like a monster the past week. What do you like to do while breastfeeding? Uhh, definitely not just play on twitter and tapa... Any questions/rants/raves?? Any tips for a lazy latch? She has a lip tie that I opted to just work through (DD1 has one as well), and for a while her latch was great and the tie didn't bother me. Lately she gets distracted and then gets a shallower latch, which is uncomfortable. I would take her to a quiet place, but 9 times out of 10 I'm nursing her while also watching DD1, so it's either on the go, or someplace that isn't dark/quiet (like...a crowded playground. Oops.). Any ideas?

It was almost always gas related. Try burping him. Also, sometimes slightly bouncing her while we were nursing would keep this from happening. She eventually outgrew it!

How frequently are you nursing? Anywhere between 5 and 7x a day. Usually 3hrs in between feeds during the day.
How are nights going? Some are good, some are bad. The average is 1-2 wakeups. He usually goes right back down if I feed him though, so that's been alright.
What do you like to do while breastfeeding? Anything on my phone. B is a pretty quick nurser, so I don't usually have that much time.
Any questions/rants/raves?? No questions. I guess I'll rant about solids. I keep getting the "when are you starting?!?!?!" from my in-laws. Jeez guys, chill.

I thought of a question: How many oz is your LO taking per bottle? Has it increased recently, or has it stayed relatively the same (even if LO is dropping feeds)?
DS has been at 4.5oz for about 2 months. Around this time I feel like I remember DD upping her oz per bottle a little as she dropped/consolidated feeds. She maxed out at about 5.5oz right before we introduced solids at 6 months. I'm wondering if I should maybe think about upping DSs daycare bottles since he's eating less frequently (i.e., occasionally only 5x a day - 3 daycare bottles and a morning/bedtime nurse).

ellabee , weekdays are like this for us: 6am - nurse Five 3-oz bottles at daycare (8, 10, 12, 2, 4) 6:30pm nurse bedtime (between 7:30 and 9) nurse. We've been doing 3-oz bottles from 12 weeks. We are going to up to 3.25 ounces this week. DD1 took five 3 to 3.5 oz bottles up to 10 months, even after adding solids. From 10-12 months, We might have done four 4-oz bottles and two "foods." edited because I may have mis-remembered?

Similarly to judyblume14, I remember DD1 took mostly 3-oz bottles for the duration. I think at her peak, she did 13oz/day - 3x 3oz plus 1x 4oz.
