The date to start the November batching cycle for BCP and day one period is today, but nurse said RE would probably allow me to get on it if I started by Wednesday. My question is this: would you say you started your period in time if it was really Thursday and be one day off if you had no Lupron and were still on BCP for until 10/20 (the stop date for the cycle) and be on November or tell the truth and let one day push you to December. I feel the cramps and like AF will be here by then, but I’m curious what you have to think of I have to make a snap decision. What does one day matter in your experience?

My RE doesn't batch, so I don't entirely know how it all works, whether it would really make a huge difference for you. But my personal opinion is that I wouldn't fib. My body is so weird and unpredictable that the time I lied would be the time it fakes me out and the period waits a few more days. I'd rather not risk it, or risk that extra day affecting my cycle outcome.

I Wouldn't fib.... I just got a message from my RE (this is related but not...) saying she would prefer I don’t start this weekend- even if my cyst is gone. And wait another week. But she remembered that I was trying to plan around some travel this fall so we can “discuss”.
Which means I could push it and say I have to start this week... or wait and have a bit of a better start. I’m OOP so I don’t see any point not getting it “as right” as can be. As painful as that is. And pushing another week might actually push me until January. My h and I have to check the calendar.
Anyway. This is a long winded way of saying that this process is all difficult enough and expensive enough to not stack all of the cards in your favor. I think.

I wouldn’t. Everything is timed so precisely based on Day 1, and there is so much that can go wrong in even a perfectly timed cycle that I wouldn’t chance it. I also wouldn’t want my RE to make changes to a protocol that went poorly when the reason may have been timing vs. meds. Batches cycles would drive me bonkers and I get where you are coming from. I would totally be the one to miss the cut off by one day, too, but I think it’s best to just go with their schedule. I’m sorry.

I’m hoping I get my period tomorrow or Wednesday, and he will probably be okay with a November cycle.

They're really just looking for a withdrawal bleed, then? Is this an FET or a fresh cycle?

They're really just looking for a withdrawal bleed, then? Is this an FET or a fresh cycle? It’s a FET, and yes, they are trying to “suppress “ me and appear to be only looking for a withdrawal bleed.

In that case I'm sure it'll be fine to start, but I'm confused about the clinic's logic here. If you don't start after suppression, why would they have you either suppressed for another month or not be suppressed at all headed into an FET in December. That seems like a major ball dropped on their part. That's bad scheduling.
