Whole30 is on like donkey kong. I'm feeling strong and ready right now. Remind me of this in a week.
I'm also doing a 6 week fitness challenge at the y. It's not necessarily a difficult challenge, but it'll be good for me to mix things up some.
I'm also debating doing a couple of diet bets while I'm at this. I won a $150 credit last summer that I need to use so I can cash it out.

I was supposed to be doing a c25k, but now I've been sick for a couple of weeks. I've been on the treadmill walking, but I can't breathe enough to run. I have just under 3 weeks to the 5k, and I'll definitely be walking.

I finished phase 1 of my BBM challenge this morning. 1/3 of the way done! The scale hasn't moved much but I've definitely lost inches. I'm mad I didn't measure before starting.

I haven’t really been exercising because I’ve been feeling sick on and off for the past 2 weeks. But, I have been eating better and my pants are definitely fitting more loosely!

I ran yesterday! And did not eat the pancakes and bacon that BM was making for dinner.

I walked about two miles with the jogging stroller yesterday, and ended up pushing two bicycles and two children in it for more than half of it. We picked up a pedal bike for H, and he rode his balance bike. And then got tired. Insert eye roll towards H here.

ovenrack, ate least he didn't take off his helmet and hand it to you too. That's what M does.

ovenrack, ate least he didn't take off his helmet and hand it to you too. That's what M does. He has trouble undoing the buckle. Also can't unbuckle his own car seat. Which I know your M mastered years ago. And routinely he will wear his helmet for 45 minutes after he's done bicycling. He's cool like that.

She actually can't do her helmet but she can get it off her head anyway.

Just finished the first day of phase 2 of this challenge. And, afterwards, I ate a Noosa instead of the ice cream I was craving.

I've done planks 2 days in a row. I'm able to do 2 minutes. I'm hoping to work my time up slowly with my ultimate goal 5 minutes. I'm just realizing now how weak my core is and I'm motivated to do something to change.
I'm planning on running in the AM. I fell off the wagon after my race 2 weeks ago. Time to get back on the horse.
I could do better with my food choices too. I'm about 5# from my 'comfortable weight'.

Good job with the noosa, milano! I'm eating some cottage cheese with a few choco chips in it. Instead of... something worse.

Despite eating terribly all day (MH bought a deep fryer.....), I cut myself off a couple of hours ago and just did my workout even though I was tempted to let the entire day be a mess.

So I ran twice over the weekend. The first was a good run - 2.5 miles. The second I had M on her bike with me, so it was more like sprint and walk intervals. Then she fell off and we had to walk home. But the promise of that becoming a reality soon was pretty cool.
But my knee has been sore ever since. I know I need new sneakers and I'm hoping that fixes it...cuz I def don't have the energy to deal with an injury.

stringy I just got new sneakers yesterday because I was having foot pain and I'm hoping it was just bad shoes- mine were four years old. I hope that's all your knee pain is!

stringy are you running on concrete? It might be easier on your knee if you regularly mix in running on some type of dirt trail.

A good store may also let you return shoes if they don't feel right. Go in wearing something you can do a light jog in. They will evaluate your stride and see how your feet fall. They may actually evaluate your arches and provide inserts. I've never used them yet. You can also note which style they recommend, see if they work, and when you need a new pair buy them online.

Mine are also at least 4 years old... I'm not sure yet but they feel more comfortable when I'm exercising. I don't run though, so if I were you I'd go get fitted like everyone suggested. I just got cross-training sneakers.
