clementine LT for commiseration. The Insomnia has hit me hard. I can fall asleep but if I wake up, say bye bye to the night.

Last week was a pretty tough week for DD. Mon she wasn't being a good listener for her speech teacher, tues she got in trouble at preschool for not listening, wed she ran out of the speech teachers room, and thurs she hit another kid at preschool. Today, I told her if she was good for her speech teacher, we could carve the pumpkin we got yesterday. Speech teacher came back and told me she did such a good job today and they advanced to using the words they were working on in sentences. I was so proud of her I told her we could get a frosty to eat with our lunch. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the rest of the week ends up being really good too.

I did too much this weekend and now I regret everything because I'm ready to hulksmash anything at a moment's notice now.
I really, really need more time off, lordy.

I had a terrible morning this morning. DS is going through a phase where he hates going to daycare, so mornings are challenging. This morning he refused to get out of his PJs which ended making us late getting out the door. Then I got a speeding ticket. Apparently I started to accelerate to soon in a zone where the speed limit goes from 35 to 55. So I was 20 minutes late for my 8:00 meeting and in tears.
Thankfully the rest of my day has been mild, but the rain can stop anytime.

Rama and woodenshoes i hope the week gets better for the both of you and you can find some downtime to relax! sweetc129 sorry about the pinkeye but your day sounds lovely Leaf 🌱 mom guilt sucks...i accidentally whacked dd in the face getting her out of her car seat yesterday (my hand slipped when i was loosening straps)...she just looked at me like what the heck mom and we both started crying sorry i haven't been around much we had a pretty busy weekend. we finally ordered some furniture for our house on saturday and spent the rest of the day at the ils and sunday we had an afternoon river cruise for my gram's 80th. probably one of the last nice days of the year. they are forecasting snow on friday😕. i'm not sure how i'm going to make it through the day without an hour long walk to rely on especially since dd seems to be dropping her afternoon nap😬. just working on unpacking more stuff and organizing the house this week.

I finally have a voice...ish. I thought it was better but then after a teleconference someone at work chatted me to make sure I was okay because I sounded awful. I realized last night that the band of my engagement ring is broken. Like snapped. I feel so sick over it. The ring is 200+ years old but of course I would destroy it. We had it soldered to my wedding band last year and I wonder if that was the cause. We're going to get it fixed but honestly I don't even know if I feel safe wearing it anymore. It has soo much intricate filigree there are a million pieces on it that could break. Womp. For my birthday this year my H gave me another ring that I've been occasionally wearing instead of my wedding rings so I'm wearing that now but it's just making me sad that it isn't my rings ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)

I’m still needing so much sleep it’s pathetic. I literally pass out at 8pm. Dh has been very understanding, but I have two days coming up where he is gone until way after bedtime and I’m dreading doing bedtime solo. Food is still “eh” for me, but I prepared chicken and stuffing, salad and squash for dinner and made apple crisp for dessert. I really want oatmeal chocolate chip cookiesz

Oh my goodness, what a crazy week. I'm sorry I've been MIA. We're planning our annual Halloween party this weekend and I'm frantically trying to finalize costumes, my car has been in and out of the shop, I'm planning a friend's sort of last-minute baby sprinkle, and we're doing a big event for or MOPS Halloween meeting. It all just happened to land on the same couple of weeks.
In fun news though, my mom is in town for the week, so we're getting lots of wonderful time with her. She'd been itching to buy DS some new clothes, and maternity clothes for me for my birthday, so...bring on the shopping?

We had a busy Friday/Saturday, then I rested Sunday and Monday I cleaned for 5 hours. Today I cleaned some in our house for the company that's here for night. Have fun shopping! DH and I are going car shopping tomorrow, then I'm going shopping with my BFFs on Thursday and I'm excited about both. Hoping to get some nursing bras since I need to buy bigger ones.

I got my flu shot yesterday and totally forgot how sore it can make my arm. Yikes! It's pretty painful today.
Has anyone gotten a fever after getting the flu shot? I had a low grade one last night along with chills and body aches. It was miserable and made it hard to sleep. Not sure if it was a result of the shot or just a coincidence and maybe I caught a bug if some sort. I'm so tired today though (I feel like I say that a lot).

mattsgirl2004, I got mine yesterday and they said anything under 101 is normal. DS usually gets a pretty high fever for a full day afterwards. Still considered normal. We use it as an excuse to have a snuggly, sleepy home. Take it easy today ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I hope you can get it fixed or if you don't feel it's safe could you wear the other ring and make that into a different piece of jewelry you can always wear like a necklace or different ring? I'm sorry, can you pip? I'd love to see it.

Loss of dignity came early this pregnancy.
I just had to send H into the store to buy me new pants. I threw up so hard in the car that I peed. A lot. Also, not leaving the house without a pair tossed in my purse from now on.

I'm seriously the worst with wasting food and pregnancy just makes it so much worse. I AmazonFresh things when they sound good and then by the time they come I'm like ehhhh. Our freezer is so full of stuff I'm pretty sure we're never going to use.
I am making myself the hugest smoothie because I bought all of this frozen fruit weeks ago when it sounded good and then never used it. I need it gone.
Anyone want a smoothie?

cornpop, I was making smoothies a couple weeks ago, but I always think the ones I make taste terrible. I feel like I have wasted a lot of food (mostly fruits and veggies). My husband gets so frustrated at me about it, but he rarely eats any of it and I don't eat it fast enough to get through it all before it goes bad.

Movement is so weird. Like, half the time it feels like gas (movement), but I don't actually feel any gas (pressure), so I know I'm not about to fart. The other half the time, it's legit just poking me, as if they want my attention for something.
But mostly, as much as I love the movements, I'm starting to get grumpy about "really needing to pee" only to let loose a small trickle. So many squinty eyes at this kid and I'm not even halfway.

Also, not leaving the house without a pair tossed in my purse from now on. I kept a pair of black leggings and a tunic at my desk all last pregnancy. Between the possibility of peeing myself and my water breaking at work, I really really wanted to be prepared. Good thing I left them there too bc my first post partum period was a blood bath and they came in handy.

Rama my OB or my last BMB have me the advice to leaning forward and then lean back and then forward again when I peed so I could empty my whole bladder. Also, last pregnancy I got two UTIs with zero symptoms except for frequent urination (with only a tiiiiiiiny amount). It may be worth checking out. At least then it would be curable 😂
