Hey all! DS finally STTN for the first time since getting HFM Thursday. He still has a couple red spots on his chin and one on a finger, otherwise it's mostly on his feet so he's been wearing socks. We're planning on going to the family gathering this morning, it's at a pizza buffet, but H or I will get his food for him. Is this a good idea, or no?

gamergirl I have no advice as my daughter had a mild case of HFM last week that the daycare caught... I never saw any of the spots on her. Hopefully your little guy starts feeling better.

Got my coffee, already stopped a Sephora. Doing a few returns at the mall then some grocery shopping. Depending on how the weather is later I may plant a few flowers that we bought yesterday.

gamergirl HFM went around DDs daycare this past winter. The note daycare sent home (copied/pasted from CDC) said it was most contagious during first week of illness so if DD had caught it, we would have to keep her home 7 days minimum. I don't remember when you said your DS got it so not sure how long he's had it. Poor guy! From everything I read it's a pretty miserable illness to catch. Glad he got some sleep last night. I'd go with your mom gut on this one, I'm sure it feels like you've been cooped up and are probably going stir crazy!

Good morning! Not much planned today aside from cleaning floors, a Walmart run, and a playground outing. It has been super windy here all weekend so hopefully that lets up soon!

It's our wedding anniversary today so we are...cleaning the house lol He's making me chicken parm tonight, our anniversary meal every year. It's cold and miserable here so outdoor activities will need to wait much to DD's dismay.

We're driving home, hoping to be there around 2pm. I knocked out the first half of the trip, so I'm just enjoying the ride right now.

I always error on the side of caution. if he had a normal cold it's one thing but HFM blows. Plus families with more than one kid will almost definitely all get it and trust me 2 kids w HFM at the same time is awful.

We're enjoying a relaxing day at home. I feel bad for not going to my sister's for a cookout, but I'm all partied out this weekend.
DS loves watermelon. It's funny because that was the one food aversion I had when pregnant with him. *Poof pic*

Drove home early this morning to beat the traffic. H cleaned the house while DS and I went to the play place, the mall, and home goods. Now we're watching the men's lacrosse national championship. Maryland women won yesterday and the men are playing now. Go TERPS!

Happy Memorial Day! I'm trying to catch up on here from the weekend. Hoping to work up the motivation for a grocery run later but it's not looking good. Other than that, just enjoying a quiet day with H and DD before getting back to the grind tomorrow.

Spent the morning running errands. DD and I just got back from walking the dog and now she is napping while I do some cooking for a family from church who just adopted a little boy from Haiti!

Guys - someone talk my off the ledge. I just chopped an onion and wasn't overtaken by the smell. Now I'm feeling myself up and my boobs aren't as sore. WTH. Remind me symptoms come and go.

rebeccabunch, i still get extremely paranoid that something is wrong. Pregnancy is the worst, because you either feel like crap or work yourself up wondering why you don't feel like crap.

parma986 and mkrupar Happy Anniversary, hope you both had a fantastic day! rebeccabunch Symptoms come and go, your boobs will be sore again soon. Hugs. <3 Thank you to everyone who gave their input this morning! We decided to go. It was fun to see some family we haven't seen in a while, and to finally get out of the apartment. DS did really well, and took a nice nap on the way home. We made it back just in time for me to leave again for work. It's been a long day.
