I'm finally realizing this baby is really happening and that I have been in labor as early as 33 weeks and that's only 5 weeks away. I also have several hundred dollars in toys r us gift card I want to spend in case they go under. Much of my baby stuff is gone or 10 years old so tell me what new moms these day need.
I still have: Crib (new at baby 2 due to recall of my first one) Highchair Pack N Play Jumperoo
My sister is giving me (new from her 3rd who is 11 months old) Bathtub Infant car seat Swing Chair that looks like a Bumbo seat but isn't Rock N Play
I know I need: Nursing pillow (liked my Boopy but is there better?) Some type of babywearing contraption (willing to spend on a good one, planning to need it often to keep track of everyone.) Some type of Bundle Me (had the original, is there better, kids were always sweating, baby will spend a lot of time in hockey rinks) Bouncy seat Diaper bag Stroller (I have one T uses occasionally but it's pretty beat. Anyone use a sit n stand?) A bedroom for this kid
What am I missing?

For baby wearing we had a Boba soft structured carrier that is pretty much the same as an Ergo. We loved it.

I never got around to checking with insurance for the pump. I used my medela with both kids. Started showing wear the last few months of pumping this time. I loved it. Also loved my medela hand pump (symphony I think?) for quick on the go pumping.

I have a Medela breast pump but insurance will buy me a new one. Anyone have one they love? I just did Medela again since it was free and I had all the extra parts from before. I have heard of some silicone hand pump called haakaa that people put on non-nursing side and it collects milk. It seems to be a social media thing though, but may be worth a Google search.

Re stroller - I got a cheap sit and stand off one of those Facebook groups (north jersey stroller swap I believe) that took my car seat. I'm glad I did because I think we've used it like 4 times. I did a bunch of research on which I wanted then stalked the page till someone posted one in good shape. I got the sit and stand ultra I believes

I have this, it’s great. If you are an overproducer it’s so awesome.

I have both the boppy and the my brest friend and I prefer the boppy.
I would recommend a ring sling for when the baby is tiny and then when they get a bit bigger I’d go for a tula or kinderpack
Breast pads
Diapers
And really anything else you can amazon prime after baby is here.

I had a colicky pissed off newborn. These items we used everyday and I didn't have them in advance: Crib wedge Gripe water Gas drops Kinderpack If I was doing it all again, I'd get that high tech crib thing that Cher got!

kim22 following because I’m in the same boat. I’m getting a new boppy pillow, new car seat, new pump (my insurance buys it and I’ve had good experiences with medala). I also think I’m going to get a boppy newborn lounger and a mamaroo. I need advice on a good carrier too. I have an ergo that I love, but I want to get either a ring sling or a solly for when they are super little.

- bottles and pacifiers, but one of three or so different brands brands. Dd took the third bottle we tried, ds the fourth paci. - I loved to have a sample of formula, even though I've never used it. It made those first days of bf so much more relaxed, knowing that I had a safety net. - I have a medela freestyle. I love that you don't have to be near an outlet. - big muslin swaddle, never used them to swaddle, but loves them for everything else. - lanolin - socks, I was somehow always short on those - massage oil, good for gassy/fussy baby's - I have a marsupi carrier that I love more than my ergo for newborn, if you want a soft structured one. But I'm still in love with my moby, especially when they're small.

Glad for this thread because I had already donated everything except for our swing and what X still uses (crib, highchair, PNP).
- Burp cloths - RNP - newborn bottles and medium flow bottles/nipples - we had a Boppy newborn lounger we liked so I'll get another one - swaddle sacks, we always used Summer Infant.

I could never get into the rink sling and felt way better using the ergo with infant insert.
