We spent all day outside, I am so windburned. I just finished moana with the kids, I sobbed through the whole thing. Sobbed during Moana? I can be a sap sometimes but what tugged your heart strings throughout the whole movie? ETA #nojudgment #curious When she starts singing about finding herself or whatever, I just start to cry. It's like I can't control it at all!! Parenting has broken me

I thought we were going to have to take B for his first stitches today! He fell off a bench an cut his mouth. It was bleeding pretty good for a few minutes and we loaded into the car to go to the hospital, but then the blood stopped and I figured it would be okay so we turned around. It's just a matter of time with this wild child...

E fell asleep in his room all by himself tonight! His mattress came today so DH set it up and I managed to find sheets. Why are all the cute kids sheets either trademarked character crap (not our style) or not 100% cotton?! I ended up with just some solid color sheets that match his room. So we will see how long he makes it in there.
We watched Moana today for the first time! No sobbing but E and I both took a little nap during the movie. I really did like it though. I did too much today, I am wiped out. I need to be better about getting more rest on the weekends.

We're home. M was happy to see us. Barely hugged him dad because he wanted me. Obviously I loved that.

Betweenthelines is that a dyson? Yay for a vacuum. There is a blinds attachment to clean dust off venetian blinds. It's worth the $ if you have those kinds of blinds. I love all the attachments for that vacuum! We have the dog brush attachment and it's a game changer.

Trying to figure out what to do today...things I want to accomplish: clean out upstairs linen closet and get autumn decorations out and up. Other than that, I think I might just watch some football and make/eat chili.....we'll see how motivated we get. I also want DH to take the lead with E and get him outside as much as possible. E did pretty well in his bed last night! He was crying a little after 4am and I went and got him and brought him into bed with me. I don't think he realized he could get out of his bed!
Now that we have our floors done, I want to go on a furniture shopping spree...I want a sideboard for the dining area and an entryway bench that can store shoes (I saw a thread on GD recently that inspired me...I like the Ikea one but don't want to attach it to the wall!). I think some big plants would also look nice in our dining area. Oh and I want new curtains. Basically, I need a few thousand bucks to get this place looking great. Except I'm trying to save for maternity leave so I guess this stuff can wait. I'll keep my eye out on FB/craigslist for secondhand stuff.

Going to be a pretty low key day here. Hoping to get our Fall/Halloween decorations out so I can work on putting them up. Will need to make a trip to the grocery store and H wants to mow the lawn once it warms up outside.

Oh, I tried the maple pecan latte at Starbucks yesterday and actually liked it! I usually drink coffee black or with a splash of milk. But Starbucks usually tricks me into getting one of their sweet coffee drinks at some point (because they sound so good) and then I think it is gross. But I liked the maple pecan one!

And I guess I am feeling fall now because we had baked pumpkin oatmeal for breakfast and I'm making chili for dinner (in the IP!). Yum.
I need to clean up my diet a bit, I've been going hog wild and have put on too much weight already with this pregnancy. At first, eating helped with the nausea (like all of my pregnancies), so that got me off to a rough start with the weight gain. I am just feeling really big already!
I finally donated to the relief efforts in PR...please think about doing so if you have the resources! I've read that cash is still the best way to help.

We ended up at the house much later than I had anticipated, we didn’t leave until after 7. H got a little weepy when we were done. It was the longest he’s ever lived anywhere, even as a child. We got home a little before 9, both the van and Pilot are filled with stuff, a few things like the vacuum, tools, cleaning stuff, we had intended to bring, but some stuff we just didn’t have room in the garbage for. We were breaking down boxes in the garage and found a bunch of huge styrofoam pieces... so, some are in the trash, taking up space that other stuff could have had and some are in my van. We have lots of unloading and unpacking to do today. It’s little overwhelming to look at, but once we start getting stuff put away, I feel like it’ll quickly decrease in its intimidation.

A went “fishing” in the pool yesterday. She also managed to tangle herself in fishing line at one point. ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171001/3c307ae9b9bf72c630369b62b46cee61.jpg)

mrspiatt, it has always taken me longer than I expected when I moved out/cleaned places I've lived. One place I lived for 10 years, so that is understandable but the other was a place that DH and I only lived for like 2 years when we were first married! I hope you guys find things to love at your new place as much as some of the things at the old house!

We also moved stuff with the intention of selling it. Like our dining set, a desk, our beer tap collection, and some other stuff that we can keep in the garage while we try to sell it.

easternshoregirl, I need to clean up my diet too. I have good intentions when I'm at the store, but then vegetables and healthy grains sound so gross when it comes time to eat them. I still feel gross at night. It leads to too much carb-eating for me.

TMI alert. I've been constipated the last few weeks and woke up feeling so bad. After miralax coffee and dried cranberries I finally feel better.

I feel like I've already run the gauntlet. Target, aldi and publix in the books. Lunch done. Meal planning done. Naps soon plus laundry, meal prep and more errands. I also need to get fall decorations out.
Oh and date night was good. Really liked the movie and dinner was delish!

I totally get that swallowing pills sucks. Especially for a young child. But there’s no option or choice here. It sucks. I can only be patient and kind for so long before I turn into a screaming hulk mess which I know doesn’t help

jedi, add me to the club of couldn't swallow a pill when I was a kid. I don't think I really did it until I was 20 years old or so!

flippinchica, I hear ya on the constipation. I had a cup of "smooth move" tea on Friday night and yesterday morning I got relief. It was rough but worth it when it was all done, I felt so much better. I need to check with my doc to see if that is OK to try every now and then. The interwebs tell me it is OK but I would like to check.
