I kind of feel April in that episode. I also get annoyed when people don't play games by the rules 😂 *hangs head* Same. YOU HAVE TO SAY EVERYTHING ON THE CARD!

Another good episode!
Man, that neuro guy's story was so sad. I'm glad April found someone she could talk with.

Another good episode! Man, that neuro guy's story was so sad. I'm glad April found someone she could talk with. If she actually talks to him and doesn't just shut down turning to sex.

You guys willed it into existence! Wasn't someone here saying they need to give Maggie complex heart cases?

I wanted to add that I am beginning to find dark April annoying. At least she was in last week’s episode. Agree. And in this week's. I was actually happy that the Neuro Doctor kind of put her in her place over how she's been acting about her Faith. She's acting like a petulant child.

I... didn’t really care about the flashbacks at all.
Happy for Alex and Jo, though!

Could Meredith even do what Marie was asking her to do? Does she have rights to the surgical methods her mother invented? And the ability to rename something that has probably been in medical journals/books for 20 years?

I wanted to like this episode more than I actually liked it.
I really liked the flashbacks. I think Alex and Jo's gave good insight into their past. Maggie's was not as profound, but was endearing anyway.
Loved the complex heart case and thought the two young lovebirds were precious, if a lot corny.
I felt the Meredith/ Dr. Curcon drama was a little anticlimactic. I was hoping for more cloak and dagger.
Loved when neuro doc had the heart to heart with April, they have good chemistry and he gets her.
I got teary when Jo proposed to Alex, they were both so damaged and fixed each other.
Since they are going there with Maggie and Jackson, I am trying to keep an open mind, but THERE IS ZERO CHEMISTRY there. They need something to happen to them to make the audience root for them or their scenes will wind up being fast forwarded.

I feel like Ellis's Harper Avery Award-winning daughter making a statement that her mother did not give credit to her partner would carry a lot of weight.

So Marie is basically going to do the same thing to Meredith that her mother did. What a bitch. Meredith seemed way less pissed than I expected. All she did was throw something at the door. Wut?

I didn't love this episode and MH kept yapping during it. The flashbacks were kind of meh to me.
This is the first time I've liked the neuro guy though and thought the talk between him and April was good. Mt inkling is they're going to have her rejoin the military or go with him or something, but I hate that would take her far from Harriet. I'm not sure I see them killing her, but I wouldn't put anything past Shonda either.

But... it’s hard for me to reconcile that type of exit storyline with Harriet’s existence.

I feel like Jackson would've never just left Harriet there when she was obviously troubled/drunk and there was a random dude wearing her robe.
I think neuro guy has the potential to be awesome for April and I hope he helps her find her way.
I hope the Meredith/cerano storyline isn't over yet, that was definitely anticlimactic.

I was shocked that Jackson left Harriette with April.

Fish was perfect with April. He is just what she needs. The fact that he isn't preachy, has a good time, and has a history with faith and loss? Perfect. That was my favorite part of the whole episode.
