Age: 7 months
Milestones: He's crawling. Baby jail is imminent LOL He's also babbling a lot lately, and really close to saying something. MH thinks he's trying to say, "Mama," but it sounds like, "Baba."
Challenges: Food. He's liked everything we've put in front of him, but seems to be wary of any chunks. I gave him yogurt yesterday with chunks of fruit and he seemed okay with it. I need to try harder, but time... so little time. I'm also trying to remember that any food before a year is mostly just for fun.
Funny/cute stories: He's discovered that he can go into the kitchen. I think for a while he didn't like the cold floor (we have carpet in the living room). Now he's all about exploring the pantry and under the kitchen table. He was knees-deep in a box of tissues yesterday.
How are you? Okay. Day by day... surviving day by day LOL
Anything else? I just can't believe he's almost 8 months old already. It's gone so fast.
QOTW: Phone calendar. BUT we have a paper calendar in the kitchen that is also used.

Age: 5w5d Milestones: tracking! Only smiles at the ceiling and any fan. Slept for 5 hours last night 12-5am Challenges: usually sleep. He definitely has reflux and it's killing me/my clothes and I feel awful bc his cry sounds like it hurts his throat Funny/cute stories: idk. He doesn't do much right now lol. He's such a fatty- I weighed us at home and he seems to be around 12 lbs! Had a serious second chin happening. How are you? Tired. Even with that stretch of sleep, I had to wake up and pump so I didn't get a nice stretch. 😠Worried about making enough milk. I think I have a plugged duct so I'm doing what I can to make it better. Hot compress, massaging, BFing on that side first, and pumping. Ugh. Painful and not fun. Anything else? Some days are so long when DH is on a tough rotation and doesn't get home til 10pm. Even last night- he came home at 10 but was doing work until midnight and N wouldn't sleep. He was so fussy all evening, I cried a few times. Today was a snuggle and nap day though, so much better heh. QOTW: Paper planner or phone calendar? Phone for sure. Our schedules are so hectic we need something that can be updated across the board quickly

Hugs, addymac. Those days are so tough. Has the doctor prescribed anything for the reflux? And clogged ducts are awful!!! I'm so sorry you're dealing with that, too.

I sent his dr a message today but haven't heard back. It just happened in The last week or so, and I realized it was more than your average spit ups. Hopefully the dr will get back to me soon!!

When C was in the NICU they warned us he was showing signs of reflux. We tried a few meds, but it seems C is just a spitty baby (J was, too).
If you need laundry tips, I'm your gal LOL
