Sorry again, I did not realize today was Tuesday until my alarm went off at 5am for my appointment. I was stuck on Sunday. :-)
I had my first lining check this morning and it was 6.59. Whew! My lining has been total shit recently so I am happy with it. My RE did add 4mg of estrace and I have another check on Tuesday.
I also got the results from my September 8th endometrial biopsy, which showed I have Endometritis. I will be on antibiotics for two weeks. She said the results have been back for a few weeks and she was very sorry no one called to inform me. Way to go nurse for being shitty at your job.

QOTD - I ate a lot of pineapple until I realized an excess of it makes your lips burn. But I've basically just tried to pick better options whenever food comes around. {Spoiler}My doctor from the fertility clinic called me today and has officially scared the crap out of me.
She said she was happy with my rise from the 2nd beta to the 3rd but the 1st to 2nd "wasn't what she wanted to see"
and that she has to "remain cautious"
Isn't that a total contradiction??

babyhopes, glad your lining is looking good! And hope the antibiotics help the endometritis - how crappy that they didn't call you with the results way sooner! mela99, congrats again! AFM, I'm on day 5 of stims, so possibly only 3 more days left after today! Yesterday morning I had my first monitoring ultrasound - he counted 20 follicles on the right side and 16-20 on the left, and 7 follicles were in the 8-9mm range. He kept me on the same dose of meds last night and today and will probably lower it tomorrow based on my blood work and new ultrasound tomorrow morning, and then probably ultrasounds Thursday and Friday afternoon. QOTW: I am still taking CoQ10 as a supplement - after taking it for about 7 months my AMH improved substantially, so I'm sticking with it. My RE also has patients take HGH injections during stims, so I am taking 27 IU of Omnitrope along with my Lupron, Menopur, and Gonal-F.

babyhopes yay for the lining looking good. I hope it continues to thicken and you have a nice lining next Tuesday! I can't believe that nurse didn't tell you about the results. I'm sorry to hear and hope the antibiotics clear it up! daisy818 Wow! That sounds like a ton of follicles! How exciting. I am hoping you get a bunch of eggs!! I am still plugging away on BCPs. Nothing too exciting going on here. Suppression check is next Friday. We were going to do karyotype testing to see if we could get the PGS covered but that costs money too so we may just skip it.

babyhopes yay! So glad your lining is off to a good start! Fingers crossed for another great check on Tuesday! I am sending your nurse a major TP! WTF is with our nurses?! mela99 congrats! Sending you good thoughts. daisy818 you’re getting so close! I hope all went well this morning! jense927 that’s a tough call. I hope you guys are able to make a decision you feel good about. AFM, I’m plugging away on 5 units of Lupron daily, baby aspirin, and my Estrace bumped up to 4mg 2x day today. I had blood work this morning (you know, the mid-cycle blood work I have to beg for). Hopefully my ovaries are cooperating and I didn’t ovulate through the meds again. If all looks good on my blood work, my lining check is 10/5. QOTW: my RE started me on NeoQ10 in June for our second IVF. Ever since then, my AFC has increased significantly each month. It gives me some home in case this FET fails and we have to do another retrieval.

jense927, hope the suppression check goes well. And ugh to all the hoops to jump through (and expense) to try to get insurance coverage. birch113, hope your blood work comes back with good news today! Update following today's ultrasound: still have about 40 growing follicles, and they seem to be coming along nicely. Lining is at 9.5. He's now not sure if retrieval will be Monday or Tuesday, so I guess I'll wait and see how Friday's ultrasound goes.

Plan is for fresh, unless OHSS rears its ugly head - if I'm in bad shape we'll freeze all and do an FET once my body is back to normal. I'm seriously super nervous about OHSS with this many follicles.
Glad your blood work looked great!! I'll be thinking good lining thoughts for you

I went in for baseline ultrasound and blood this morning and they found a cyst. An amazing time for my first ever spotted cyst....
Waiting for blood results, but will most likely try again next week?
I'm also confused because when they checked like 2 weeks ago, I had like 35 follicles visible. Today, 9. And while I know the cyst could be part of the reason..... it's still so much lower.

daisy818, I had 45 eggs retrieved with no sign of OHSS. I actually felt completely fine, surprisingly. However, they had me taking cabergoline and I triggered with Lupron only. I also ate a lot of salty food after ER and drank Gatorade. Good luck!

I'll definitely follow your lead on the salty food and Gatorade though!

I'm semi-back. I kept finding myself wanting to lurk to see how all of you were doing, so while I still don't really feel like posting much, I apparently can't actually stay away!
Our regroup with the RE is in a week and a half, so I won't get his take on this cycle until then. But the lead embryologist actually called on Tuesday to give me some more details about what happened. Turns out, of the 7 retrieved only 2 were mature enough to fertilize. One of those disintegrated after the ICSI process, the other developed 3 nuclei (likely the egg didn't actually undergo meiosis correctly). I'm devastated. Until retrieval, all my numbers pointed to this being a better cycle than the first. But after two rounds we still have nothing. I don't know yet what our next steps are, and I'm almost glad we get some time to process before our regroup so that we're able to ask more questions.
Thanks for all the love and support. It truly means the world right now.

babyhopes, Yay for a lining that's cooperating! Will the endometritis effect anything or is it just the antibiotics? jense927, GL deciding on PGS. We decided to do it and I'm happy we did. It's basically included with the package my RE offers, though, and I'm not sure we would have paid the extra expense otherwise. birch113, Yay for ovaries that are cooperating! FX your lining is doing the same. happyin14, I'm sorry about the cyst. I've had one after my last IUIl. I had to wait about 2 months for it to go down but it was huge. bonzo, I'm so sorry about your cycle. I hope your regroup goes well and you can decide on a path to move forward. AFM, I'm still on BCPs for 5 more days and start Lupron tomorrow night. I was watching videos on how to self inject PIO and delestrogen and I'm a little terrified on how this is going to work. Unfortunately, since I have to do my shots in the AM, it's going to be all me when DH is out of town. QOTW: I was taking quite a few supplements prior to my ER including fish oil, l'arginine, vitamin E, melatonin, and a bunch of others. We also started to eliminate plastics and parabens but I'm not sure they made any difference. I've done pineapple, acupuncture, and pom juice as well as well. Basically, since we've been on the road for about 5 years, with some breaks, I've tried about everything.

bananas22, everything I've heard and read.... there's no way I'm going to be ready to go next week. I sort of hate how much my RE and the nurse were all "It could TOTALLY happen!". Don't get me excited. And then I pretty much have to wait a month or so anyway because I need to make some travel plans this fall and I was putting it off until I knew more. So if it doesn't happen next week, I think I'm likely to be waiting until December or January. So bummed. I know it's dumb, but I wanted to harvest 37 year old eggs instead of 38 year old eggs (my bday is in December).

happyin14, can they aspirate the cyst? I had one before my first cycle, and I had it aspirated so that we could continue on time.

happyin14 that happened my first IVF cycle. I had only had, that I know of, one other cyst in my life. 🙄 it wasn’t producing hormones, at least, so it didn’t impact my cycle. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this! daisy818 YES!!!! I’m so excited for you! bonzo I’ve been thinking of you. I hope your consult gives some answers and great next steps. bananas22 Ugh. PIO is the one thing I’m nervous to do on my own. I hope it goes so smoothly for you! Forgot to mention in the QOTW, I started acupuncture this cycle.

Still in recovery but they got 33 eggs! Embryologist estimates 10-12 are probably immature, but still a good haul. They'll be doing ICSI on all since they're using a frozen sample of DH's sperm.

Hi guys! I’m having problems with my internet right now. I’m hoping it’s working by the time I get back from my doctors appointment tomorrow. I’ll post the check-in either way once I return home. Yes bonzo, we should post a thread tomorrow so everyone can submit their ideas. I’m hoping I’ll be able to be online a lot more soon!
