Waffle, I'm sorry you're feeling anxious. I would definitely call your doctor and ask about movement and when they're concerned. At this point though, I think the response is, "it's still too early to be regular" and as long as you're at 10 in 2, you're ok. I know that they do want you to call if the movements are deviant from the baby's usual, but I think that is later on. The handout sheet I got with my GD materials said to start kick counts at 7 months, and the nurse today was very clear about "if you notice a change, call us."

Waffle getting 10 kick counts In two hours is good! If it's less than that, that's when you need to worry. That said, i think we're all getting to the point (28 weeks) where we should start paying attention. I'm going to throw it out there that if anyone has any concerns at all, call your ob/midwife. Better safe than sorry.

Thank you officedronette, jrun2013. It's PGAL brain, I swear it's erasing all remaining functioning neurones. My doctor said I should feel movement every day, no other specifications yet.

How far along are you?: 27w1d How big is baby?: Fennec Fox Any upcoming appointments this week?: Not until 10/6 (my glucose test eeeep!) Any new symptoms or changes?: Sciatica is hitting hard. Ouch. Heart burn at night. And I am just physically tired. I am worried about how I am going to handle another 13 weeks of getting bigger and bigger since I already feel HUGE. Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?: We are getting maternity/family pics done on 10/20! Much excite. We did a package so it's maternity/family pics and then newborn pics once he is here. ldubhawksfan, what did you think of the prenatal massage? Like do I need one? Because it sounds heavenly...

ldubhawksfan, what did you think of the prenatal massage? Like do I need one? Because it sounds heavenly... Not ldubhawksfan but I had a few with O (I had terrible sciatic and hip pain and ended up needing PT with her) and they were amazing. Usually helped with that pain for at least a day or 2!

ldubhawksfan , what did you think of the prenatal massage? Like do I need one? Because it sounds heavenly... I never had one with N but I have one scheduled for this Saturday. I am so excited. I am having much more back pain mostly in my ribs, and I can't take it anymore.

How far along are you?: 29w tomorrow
How big is baby?: acorn squash
Any upcoming appointments this week?: Nope. Had a checkup at 28 weeks so I have one more monthly checkup before it changes to weekly.
Any new symptoms or changes?: I have been getting a pain in my lower belly when I lay down at night. I think I need to start wearing one of those support bands. And sleep is hard to come by these days.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?: I greeted a guest at work the other day and asked if I could get them a water or coffee and they declined. Then not 5 minutes later someone else offered and they took them up on it! They said they wanted one earlier but felt bad asking me. I'm not sure what made them think a pregnant person couldn't handle a walk to the kitchen for coffee? People are strange.

rooskie, "babypalooza" would be a hard nope for me too. That does not sound like anything I want to attend.
