Morning all!
I find it so hard to post on the weekends, I always have a child attacking me! I don't know how you stay at home moms ever get a chance to post...
Anyway, I have my first job interview tomorrow. At the phone interview, they basically said he already thought I was a perfect fit. And my interview is scheduled for 2.5 hours, with an itinerary that has me meeting with pretty much everyone there.
I'm not sure if I want the job, however. It sounds like it would be a breeze for me, but it's only part time (small company, solo HR department at 2-3 days per week). I love the idea of Part time today, but not sure if it is financially sustainable long term.
I guess we will see what I think after tomorrow!

She sounds petty snoopmommymom. I'd maybe say something to your supervisor. I had a coworker like that at a job in the past. She would rattle on me to our supervisor over the dumbest shit. My supervisor wasn't stupid so she knew that the other girl had it out for me. It was just nice knowing I wasn't the only one who saw it.

Just got a picture from dc. They are painting paper plates orange to turn into pumpkins. My daughter is wearing a khaki colored uniform dress. HOw much do you want to bet she comes home covered in orange paint. PUT A SMOCK ON HER!!!! ugh. Guess I'll be putting one of mh's shirts in her cubby to keep paint off her clothes.

We want a rowing machine! But they nice ones are expensive. My parents have a Concept 2 and it's super nice. Won't be able to chat a lot while MH is home but I will trying to stay on it! I'm cleaning house for 🌮 night with our friend at our house ☺️ trtlcrzy What time did the Garth Brooks concert end? My sister is watching our kids and we are all spending the night with them so I want to give her a rough estimate of when we will be back.

We were 25 min late because of traffic and then we had to wait for someone to get us some chairs.
We're in the back and this is so boring. I hope I don't fall asleep.

I'm not usually a fan, but apples dipped in chunky peanut butter is delicious.

Apparently the new staircase doesn't fit, my tiles are delayed, the floor needs 3-5 weeks to dry out (we were supposed to move back in 4 weeks) our builder is mad and I threw out my back out. Let's just say today is not my day.

I'm a pw this afternoon. When Josie has school, which is four days a week, I feel like I'm always in a holding pattern. We can't go anywhere in the morning because Charlie takes his nap. I can't do much this afternoon because I only have two hours. So I'm back here trying to re-create a spinach frittata my mom used to make. It is not working.

B is in school MWF mornings and those are the days where C's schedule gets screwed up and I find myself stuck. Sorry about the frittata, that sounds delicious. Reminds me I've been wanting to make a quiche...

Ugh. Sorry to hear about your day, @nam. Old houses really can be a pain to work with.
I have a WWN13D for y'all. Today when I dropped S off at preschool, one of her classmates came charging out the classroom door with the assistant teacher and classroom aide barreling out right behind him. We were definitely in the way, and he tried to get past me, so I asked if they wanted me to stop him. Before they could answer, he nearly ducked around us, so instinctively I put my arm out and stopped him. I kind of cradled him, but he broke free anyway. But it was enough that they caught up, and S and I went into the classroom.
The classroom aide came back in and pulled me side to thank me for helping, but I kind of felt bad about touching somebody else's child, especially since I know the repercussions they could face if something happened to him. He's got some behavioral challenges and has come to school with injuries that I'm positive they've had to question the parents about, so it's a dicey situation anyway.
What would you have done? Stopped him or wished him Godspeed as he sailed past?

nam2013 sorry to hear about the renovations being delayed/difficult/etc. I feel like copious amounts of alcohol are required to get through large home projects. Just got home from preschool pickup and some shopping with C beforehand. I had spotted some Cole Haan python print flats at Nordstrom Rack on Saturday and kicked myself all weekend for not getting them, but they were still there this morning! Also found some things at Loft and Banana Republic...now if it will just cool off a touch so I can wear this stuff.

Sometimes it takes an adult that isn't normally scolding a kid to get them to be like "woah" and stop what they're doing.

I didn't fall asleep until midnight because my brain was all over the place, and Josie woke up calling for me at 3:45. It took all of 10 seconds to settle her, but she woke Charlie who screamed ear piercing scream for an additional ten minutes. I broke down in the middle of it (because it felt like an eternity) and gave him 2 ounces of milk. Little bugger actually slept until 730 with the little middle of the night snack. Everyone's still fighting a cold and is so snarfly over here. We have preschool at noon, and I'm going to start playing around with the teachers pay teachers site. I have a lot of stuff that I know is really good and would be really easy to upload and possibly make a few dollars from. @snoop and kim22, have you guys looked at this? I have never sold anything there but I have bought stuff. One girl I work with gets everything there.

We bought a rowing machine last year and for a few weeks, DH and I towed away. Now it's leaning up against the treadmill that I also no longer use.

flamingo, I've tried it twice, unsuccessfully, in the cast-iron pan (how she used to make it) and now I've gone for this terrible freeform look in the oven. I don't have high hopes for its looks, but I think the taste there.

I took off work today. Had breakfast with my 97 year old grandma, ran some errands, cleaned the house a bit. Now I'm waiting for the insurance adjuster to come look at my car. So far so good, within an hour of filing my claim, a claim specialist and an adjuster both called me.
My kids had a half day of school. At picked up, a horn started honking like crazy and a mom quickly noticed a car full of kids rolling down the hill with the driver's door open but no driver. The mom was able to reach in and hit the break. It was not her car, don't know whose it was.

kim22, your car stories lately have been crazy! @laststrat, I bet I would have tried to stop the kid, as well. Not in a chase-him-down-the-hallway kind of scenario, but instinctually I would probably put my arms out to stop him.
