Good luck with the heat cnf misskilljoy ! I hope your head feels better and you get a nap quinn ! I've got two questions this morning: 1. I've been getting a sharp pain on and off between my boobs but right below my bra line. Is it stretching, is it this kid in my sternum? Not concerned just curious. 2. Anyone have any experience with the flu shot and food allergies? My mil said MH can't get it because he's allergic to eggs. I'm going to call the pharmacy but they don't open for another hour.My H says the same thing. He wont get it because of it and he was concerned about DS getting it initially in case he was allergic as well. Thankfully DS doesn't seem to have the allergy issues that H had as a kid so he was fine.

Whoa. I just realized my belly button got flat. It never did that with DD. I definitely thought my body was only capable of a cavern belly button. Mine never popped the first two times, but it's definitely sticking out now. It's so weird! Mine just flattened out and disappeared last time. It's starting to pop now. Still a small hole in the middle but the top it starting to stick out. It's super weird.

Woke up with lots of bloody boogers. GR. DS went to daycare looking like Alfalfa with his hair sticking up all over. He wouldn't let me brush it and I couldn't trick him into it like I sometimes can lol. I have some errands to run today. My in laws will be here this weekend and we are low on toilet paper. Such a thrilling life I lead these days. I'm going to drink my coffee first and eat some breakfast, then I will get moving.

Good to know! I'm pretty sure he's outgrown it because he has eaten eggs (normally in omelette form) just not often. Sounds like it's pretty safe for someone like MH who doesn't have a severe allergy.

I am here. More of the same still but I am feeling pretty good overall today. I have to get my makena shot today and I don't want to but I am hoping that for some reason it helps stop whatever the hell is going on.
It is finally cooler here and I am loving the fall weather and the distinct lack of giant, swollen ankles. They are still swollen but not nearly as big as they were with the heat. Also, both Survivor and Criminal Minds return tonight, which are 2/3 shows I am looking forward to. Not a bad day, shot aside.
My H brought down the newborn clothes last night. I can't believe how tiny they are! I need him to find the tub that has 0-3 and 3 month as well but the newborn stuff is a start. Now to sort and wash them. I asked the toddler if a pair of pants was for the baby and he said "No!", snatched them out of the my hands and tucked them under his butt while sitting. So that went well.

YET. I am making a really gross face in reference to your socks comment. I live in a place that gets winter and still only wear socks about twice a year. I HATE socks. My feet need to not be trapped. Ballet flats or bust.

Today's MH and I 9th anniversary, we have nothing planned b/c it's my yoga night lol. My coworker said he'd switch the class, I told him it's the last class in a pre paid series and I'm frugal. MH just stopped to switch cars with me at work and mentioned that he needed to get a card, I told him it was ok cause I didn't have one for him yet either and let's call this year a wash but not tell anyone cause I don't want to catch flack for it. We made a nice dinner last night and actually cooked it together so I consider that a win.

LOL laurensc927, I love it. Next year is ten so you can go big then? pootsen, sending you baby flipping vibes! Mine just went head down at 32 or 33 weeks. I think what might have done it is laying on my back with my legs up the wall (and butt propped up on a couple pillows) that I did at yoga. Or at least helped straighten her out! Yours will get there I'm sure. I remember when I googled it, it said at full term 97-99% are head down!

Happy anniversary, laurensc927! Y'all, I just had another growth US. I'm hauling around an estimated 12 pounds of baby right now, and both girls are measuring 1-2 weeks ahead. The MFM will review my scan tomorrow and decide whether to move my eviction date up a week. Omg.

So the latest in convoluted things my MIL says:
We're talking last night and I make a comment about how she did EVERYTHING for MH growing up until she moved out/around the time he went to college. I mean everything like washing/folding and putting away his clothes through high school, not letting him or his father help clear the table after dinner, etc. She called it being a mother. I said yes but part of that is teaching a child how to be a responsible/functioning adult. She then went on to say how proud she is of him for doing things like starting a load of laundry and doing the dishes because not only did he not have to do it growing up but he didn't witness his dad doing it. I told her the only reason he does those things is because I've spent the last 10 years (how long we've lived together) training him to do it. She doesn't understand that as his parent she should have taught him to help clear the table and clean up after dinner that it shouldn't have been his wife's responsibility to teach him. She thinks I'll understand once this baby is born but I don't think so since I grew up in a house where both my brother and I had chores, my dad helped cook dinner and he was usually the last one in the kitchen cleaning up after everyone else had left.
Meanwhile at home MH did the dishes from dinner while I was at his mom's for 2 hours, so at least I have faith that if this baby is a boy his future significant other will not have to do what I did lol.

I hope you and your doctor come up with a good plan for the rest of your pregnancy. I've been doing an at home experiment involving me drinking a glass of OJ every time I take my pill. I noticed the week I wasn't as itchy, I was drinking it all the time, but after the craving stopped, the itching seemed to come back. IDK if it's all in my head, and it's only day 2, but I feel like it's working and don't even care why.

laurensc927, your family sounds like mine, and your DH's sounds like my DH's. I've been with DH for 12 years and like to think I've corrected a lot of bad habits that were instilled in him. It's crazy seeing how involved he is around the house compared to his own dad. Your child will be just fine with you and your H as examples!
