DD will be asleep in 30 minutes and MH is meeting his brother for drinks. Meaning, I will have the house to myself in 30 minutes for glorious alone time. Can't frickin wait.

I can't wait to try my summer water. I think I'm going to order cans of Ruza for the river next weekend too. Do! It's a little effervescent but not really sparkling. I wasn't wowed but I was like damn if this isn't convenient. So I bought more. Natch. |

Ah, I forgot it was Sunday. Handmaids Tale and Veep are on. Plus! Mh's gone for the night so I can do my yoga in absolute peace. ::heavenly music plays:: I'm behind on The Handmaid's Tale. It's so so good, but I feel like I have to be in the right mood for it because it's so heavy. I cry every episode so totally get that. I'm an episode behind the States, so I'm always behind. I didn't find Summer Water to be all that dry; happy medium is a good way to describe it. I may get two bottles in my next box. I'm not finding it very dry either. |

MIL didn't show to our party for H's cousin last night and ignored our calls today. Apparently she's upset we bought a new car while she lives in an apartment. I just can't with the made up drama today. Drinking as soon as the kids are down.

Our dinner plans went from out to pick up to go. Storm is coming and my dog flips out. He's small and old but lately has super dog strength and destroys things when he's home alone during a storm. I was going to have wine. I have no wine at the house. I am sad.

I'm on a diet so mixed drinks/beer are out and I need to be buzzed to get through a week at my sister's.

Basically today was my perfect day. Gonna finish up my Sauv Blanc and catch up on some Netflix. I am just about done binging 30 Rock. I have seen every episode of 'the office' and 'parks and rec' a million times. Any other shows you can recommend?

fireflycaptain I'd mix vodka with bubbly unsweetened water like la croix. As for what brand, I just buy whatever is on sale and not bottom shelf so it varies.
