I really really want a glass of wine. I might start a thread to get some recommendations for stocking my wine rack post baby. Seltzer with basil, sea salt and lime juice here. Your drink sounds so refreshing! It is the best. Best with grapefruit seltzer! |

Rose in my Yeti cup while DS plays in the sprinklers. It is so freaking hot and muggy here right now. I'm about to fill my Yeti up with rosé too and head to a block party! |

No drinking for me tonight. MH is cooking dinner though while I play with DD. We got her a cute little game called Peekaboo Barn today. She loves it so I have already played it fiftyleven times. It's cute though and the only game I've found that's simple enough for her to really play (she's 2). I've been thinking about buying this game for DD1. Another game that's simple enough for that age is Thinkfun Roll and Play Game. My DD loves it. |

Omfg my husband said 10 more minutes on mowing the lawn at 5:30. It is 6:17. Wtf. He always does this with the GD lawn.

My mom offered to take the kids for a bit today so MH and I got a couple of hours to ourselves. I forgot how nice it is to grab lunch and drinks with him. Now waiting for my mom to bring the kids home and then we'll BBQ. Trying to decide if I should pour a drink now or wait until she gets here.

Ds1 did not have a single accident while we were out. As soon as we get home he pooped. He was commando so the poop slid through his shirts and onto the floor. I stepped in it as I carried him to the bathroom. The first thing I did after scrubbing my foot was open a beer. Cheers. All the beer for you!! |

I think I'm finished my application to this program except for my essay portion. It's really got me in knots. MH is being a dear and taking the kids out so I can work on it. I got a sense that it's the make or break portion of the application and it can only be 1000 words max. JTTW!

We're back from our boat. It was a lovely sail.
Now I'm drinking beer and packing Audball. Tomorrow, she's going with her grandparents until next Sunday.
