thatgolfb I love your fire pit! We've been working on our our back yard and a fire pit was one of my must haves. Now we just need to get some furniture out there so we can actually enjoy it!

Should I start a thread? What did you think? Did you love it? Hate it? I liked it! It took me a little while to figure out what kind of book it was, and I think it went on a few chapters too long to try to get the "perfect" resolution, but the writing was so good and I really cared about the characters. For me that is everything. If you have a lot to say about it I would participate in a separate thread about it! |

First thing DD says when we turn on the fire: "Can I play in the fire?" Lol. No. No, you may not. DD always points st our fire and says "no" when it's burning. Anytime she gets with in 5ft of it she scolds herself. |

I was sobbing at the end because I felt Holly's story was just the intermediary between two shitty worlds. But I absolutely love books where you are trying to figure out how characters are related to other characters. Like a fun puzzle. |

I actually managed to somewhat teach my kid some basic baseball skills today. He was even able to get some hits from some generous pitches (and had some foul tips on a few that I threw a bit harder than necessary).
He still has to coordination of a 6 year old, but he did pretty well. I'm an awful coach for newbies, so I'm happy I only made him cry once when he missed and it hit him in the gut.

It's actually tomorrow, but we had yummy lamb for dinner and opened a yummy (hard to find) Pinot.
I have a bottle of Iron Horse Wedding Cuvée for tomorrow.
