Does anyone else's LO fight sleep like crazy? We do ok at night (for the most part-there are still days it takes a while to put him to sleep) but starting around noon until about bedtime he fights sleep like crazy. He cries, he screams, when he does fall asleep he wakes himself up within an hour and it's exhausting. Mornings are decent for the most part but what happens to him in the afternoon??? What do you do when your LO fights sleep?
How long is your LO awake for at a time? Mostly J is up for 1 to 1 1/2 hours but every once in a while he will go 2 or 2 1/2 hours and is miserable. Last night before bed he was up for 3 hours straight and was so grumpy. I couldn't get him down for anything.
DO you swaddle during the day or just at night?
How much sleep are YOU getting a night? Do you nap during the day? I get between 5-6 hours a night (in 3 or 4 different sleeps) and at most I nap for 45 minutes during the day. It's crushing me right now. DH keeps telling me to wake him up during the night to help but I want to BF so waking him up is pointless except he gets up, sits with us, then bottle feeds J while I pump. But then we are both tired instead of just me.
What does your LO wear to bed at night? How about for naps? We've been putting J in the Halo sleep swaddle sack the last 6 nights and it has helped his night sleep. During the day we just have him in his onesie and throw a blanket over his legs.

Over the last few days sleep is not good during the day at all, like she is barely sleeping. I have been wearing her in the boba carrier which is helping some of the fussiness but man am I out of shape and my back is killing me. She has witching hour most of the evening so basically BF is all that helps that ugh. The only saving grace right now is she has been sleeping longer at night.
I don't even swaddle anymore, it didn't seem to make much of a difference and seemed pointless with hands out since she flips with them in.
I'm getting about 7 hours broken up on a good night, maybe 5 on a bad one and do not nap during the day because toddler.
She mainly wears one piece footie pjs to bed with a light blanket. Daytime depends on weather, today was hot so just a onesie but cool days are usually long sleeve one piece suits or 2 piece pants and long sleeve.

@starzia, this was M until maybe a week ago? She would sleep mostly all day and I wondered if it was too much. Lol now she has barely slept a wink during the day! Crazy baby 😛

P is awake anywhere from 45 minutes - 3 hours at a time. Those longer stretches are usually in the evening when she's being a fussbutt.
I only swaddle her at night.
P is basically STTN now so H and I are getting around 6 or 7 straight hours of sleep. You would think this would make us well-rested, but it's not. I rarely nap during the day and if I do it's only like 30-45 minutes.
Since it's still fairly hot out, P has been wearing a short sleeved onesie and a fleece sleep sack to bed. I'm sure once it gets colder out we'll put her in footie pjs under the sleep sack. 99% of her naps are on me, so she wears whatever she's wearing for the day and I may throw a muslin blanket over her, otherwise we both end up a sweaty mess. When she naps in the RnP it's the same thing but i'll tuck the blanket in from the waist down.

They both fight sleep - E during the day and D at night. Pick them up, shoosh, and pacifier.
Usually awake for 1-2 hours at a time.
We don't swaddle either of them since it hasn't been helping.
They wear footsie pajamas since we keep the apartment cool all day long.
I'm typically getting 4 hours of sleep a night, usually in 2 stretches. It sucks. I rarely get a chance to nap during the day.

I notice Hudson has been fighting sleep during the day recently. He just went into a leap, so I am thinking that's not helping. Plus he just finished a growth spurt. When he fights it, I try to baby wear and get some stuff done along the house or play with DS1.
Hudson is up anywear from 1-1.5 hours at a clip. Sometimes longer and some times shorter. Usually towards evening he has longer stretches. I
I don't swaddle Hudson at night or at all anymore. During the day he has onesie and shorts/pants.
I am probably getting 6-7 hours of sleep. Hudsons longest stretch is the first part of night. I usually get 4-5 hours before he wakes. After I get 1-2 and then maybe another hour is he goes back to sleep after 5:30/6 feeding. DS1 doesn't get up usually until 7:30.
Hudson wears a swaddle (arms out) or sleep sack, with a long sleep shirt since we keep it cool at night. I'll probably start using just the sleep sacks.he likes his legs covered so it works.

Alexa sleeps 7 hours at night 9p-4a. I sleep mostly the same hours. Then she will sleep from 5a-7a (sometimes getting up at 6 and I bring her into my bed then. The other day she slept from 6-9 with me in bed but that is not the norm)
She is fairly good about putting herself to sleep if I put her down awake.
She is swaddled in a halo sleep sack, just tried with arms out last night and it worked.
We just moved her bassinet to her room. Will try crib this weekend.
Her naps during the day are not consistent or long. Sometimes they are on me and I transfer her to the rnp but she wakes up and screams. When desperate we swaddle. She takes cat naps whenever. I'm trying to track it to try to find a schedule
Sometimes she will go up to 3 or 4 hours between naps (the other day was 7 hrs with a 35 minute nap omg). I know she needs a nap when she's fussy so sometimes I can get her to sleep
