Everyone was in bed and asleep by 9:30 last night. We were up at the usual time and did the playground. It's unseasonably warm here and a local farm has strawberries which is highly unusual so they had a little event that we went to. Got a bunch of farm fresh fruits and veggies. DD fed some goats, which she was scared of at first and now she's down for a nap. I think I will take one too, this morning was a lot of activity in the heat for being almost 36 weeks.

When I'm struggling to get off the couch DS will come up, hold out his hands and say, "hand". Then he'll start to pull while saying, "puuuull". Such a good helper.
Of course then I have to quickly adjust myself so I can actually stand up, lol.

Did Tapatalk update their UI? Because it's terrible.
Anyway, I have my last hair appointment today (cut and highlight) before baby comes. Why does it have to be hella hot today? I'm sweating like crazy sitting in this damn chair. Thank God they have a fan that I kindly requested to be pointed right at me. Lol.

DD was up a little earlier than usual. We all had breakfast and then took our Ranger out and rode around for a couple of hours. It was nice to get out of the house before it got so hot out.
Officially 3 days out from induction which means the rest of my weekend will be spent cleaning and preparing, with plenty of rest breaks in between of course. This induction deal is kind of nice in regards to planning because I can be sure everything is clean and we have plenty of groceries stocked!

I appreciate everyone's anti-Maria thoughts but it wasn't enough. Just got word that H is heading back out on Monday.
Considering the "storm" won't be close to us until Thursday, it's probably about a week.
I'm just fucking done. I'm over all of this.

We spent the morning at the farmers market, bookstore, and buying a few new fish to add to our tank!
Just resting now while DD naps and then she is going to my parents house for a sleepover and DH and I are off for our last pre-baby date night! Taco place and a (preseason) hockey game!

Thanks guys. My husband so lovingly informed me also that if baby wanted to make her appearance before Monday, he would be able to stay behind on paternity leave.
So, tonight's experiment is to see if eating an entire bag of Riesens brings on labor. If it does, super we get a baby. If it doesnt, super I got to eat a bunch of candy.

cythe that sucks, I'm so sorry. I've heard that there are other activities couples can ummm.... engage in that can help possibly induce labor. Wives tales perhaps but maybe worth a shot?

Yay to all the inductions happening this coming week!!! cythe I'm sorry. : ( Best of luck with the Riesens! Keep us posted. AFM It has been unseasonably hot here as well...and humid. Very over it, and ready for fall weather. Looks like it might rain soon though, so that'll be nice! Today was my last work day! My coworkers surprised me with a mini baby/we'll miss you party, it was super duper sweet. There were gifts, balloons, and cake. I've been with the company for over 5 years, so I'm a little sad about leaving for good, but ready at the same time. Love my coworkers. <3 After work, I went to Great Clips and got a very over due hair cut. I feel so much better! |

So excited for all the babies joining us next week - FX for smooth deliveries for you all! Everyone start threads so we can follow along!
DD is still sick, her daycare teacher told me two others were out this week with similar symptoms so hopefully it's a short lived virus. I've reached my quota of Daniel Tiger for the year but my other suggestions for her favorite shoes are met with a firm No! H is bringing home fried chicken when hes done with his golf tournament today and I'm just going to embrace the inevitable heartburn because it sounds delicious right now!

I just had a huge pregnant lady meltdown. I'm so tired of all my physical limitations: I'm exhausted and sore, I can barely wrangle my giant toddler, I can't stay ahead of the mess in my house, and it's amazing how the most basic activities can knock me out. I actually miss going on walks. Last time I was walking the dog 2-3 miles a day until almost 41 weeks!
Plus, and I know this is stupid, but H told MIL our name even though he knows I wanted to keep it quiet. I'm annoyed that she bugged him about it too, like we already found out the sex this time, isn't that enough? Why does everyone need to know everything? I realize this is silly because it will be out there very soon, I'm just annoyed they can't accept that it's a thing for me.

The weekend is going well for us! It's soooo hot and humid outside (like even worse than normal), so I've just kind of beached myself inside and am confining myself to A/C. Heat index of 100 plus 99% humidity...pass...
I watched the baby Margaret Daniel Tiger episode last night with DS and it almost made me cry. Pregnancy hormones! DS really likes the baby Margaret episodes though, and now he is going around saying he will get to hold the baby when it comes out. So sweet.
DS also tried to see if he could "take the baby out now," and asked to see my back. I think he was hoping I'm like a toy - that there is a secret compartment on my back that will open up so he can get inside and see the baby. 😂😂. Sorry kid - doesn't work that way!

Sorry cytheExcited for outside babies next week!!! I also got my hair done today and it was awesome. A little darker for fall, I'm a happy camper. So DS is obsessed with Halloween. His favorite pastime is going to Home Depot to look at the Halloween decorations (and the lawn mowers, weed wackers, and leaf blowers). Today he insisted upon carving a pumpkin.
