Hi, I'm Sunshiney! (Previously known as BunnyBerry at the last 2 places...oh my, what happened at TCF? Nvm, probably don't want to know!).
Can't describe the feels washing over me today, coming back to the people who were truly family for so long during the hardest times. I'm so thankful. XOXOXO to old friends, and can't wait to meet new ones!
I'm 32, DH is almost 37. We got married in June (yay!) after dating just over a year and have a furbaby, one-year-old Whiskey (a shichon), and a featherbaby, Paloma the ringneck dove. Now we're hoping for a child.... Poor DH gets to jump right into testing before we start trying, because of my IF history. Never thought I could experience so much excitement and so much terror at the same time. It's so scary to jump back into this, but also so hopeful to have a chance for a rainbow baby. Thank you for having me back!
***Loss Warning***
Background - I was married for 8 years to an abuser but finally starting working on healing the stuff in me that had led me to stay in that situation, and finally got free in March 2016 (thank you, Jesus!). On the IF front, tried naturally with the ex with no success 2008-2014; testing, laparoscopy, and IUIs 2014-2015 (dx male factor, polycystic ovaries, high prolactin, endometriosis, adhesions); IVF retrieval with 3 transfers in 2015, all ending in repeat losses (CP, 7 wk loss, and ectopic).

Welcome back!!! You probably don't remember me (underdog25 back on TB and TCF) since I wasn't very active while you were still posting, but I'm glad to see you found your way here. Congrats on the wedding! Wishing you a very short stay here

Hi!! I have wondered so many times how you were doing, sunshiney. I'm glad things are looking up for you. <3 Best of luck to YH and hope his tests come back perfect! Are you planning on pursuing IVF again? Join us on the check-in even if that's a ways from now. The board isn't too active. So glad you are here.

Wow welcome back! I went through IVF with you in 2015. I remember being worried about you when you revealed a bit about your relationship with your ex... I'm SO happy for you that everything has worked out so well and you are happy now. It sounds like you haven't started trying yet this go-around? Maybe when you do you'll be pleasantly surprised by quick success. With a different partner, you never know, right? I'll be rooting for you!

moto Yes, it's so happy/sad to see you again! Thank you so much. Yes, I've got an appt soon to remove the birth control implant. DH just had a back fusion surgery a few weeks ago so we decided to hold off trying until getting through that. It would be awesome if it was quick and easy this time around! Because of my Crohn's disease I would almost certainly have C-sections, which means needing to take more time off before trying again, so we're nervous about having time to build our family if there are losses or if his sperm is less than stellar. If his results are borderline (and we're concerned because he's been on opiates for two back surgeries in the last year and still has to take up to one pill a day, plus all the x-rays and CT scans he's had), rather than trying on our own for a while, we'd probably jump into treatment. Also, I'm nervous about O'ing naturally again especially after being on BC for a year, as I always had "weak" O (later in the cycle, with an LP as short as 10-11 days at times), so I'll temp for a month or two and then jump to a medicated cycle if needed. babyhopes Thank you so much! IVF was for MFI, now the RE's expectation is that TI + potential meds is the most I would need to do as long as DH's numbers are good. The last PG was ectopic (and took months to resolve), but a follow-up HSG last year shows that both tubes are totally clear, no scarring, thankfully. I will definitely lurk the IVF check-in though! specter Hey, Underdog! Yes, I definitely remember you, I'm so sorry for the long and hard journey you've been having. I hope your cycle this month goes amazingly well. hoosiermama76 Thank you! Wow I'm so glad you also got free. It's such a process!

**GRAD WARNING**
Oh my gosh.. hey girl, hey. I am so so happy to see your face again. I think about you often.
FWIW, your "tone" in your posts come across a lot happier than they did in 2014-2016. I'm so happy you found your inner strength, and a man who is worthy of you. I'll be stalking your journey, and FX.
