Thanks for the add specter! <3 What is your EDD? March 30th Do you know the gender? Nope, we're Team Green. How many babies are you expecting? Just 1 this time What was your diagnosis? PCOS What treatment worked for you to finally get your BFP? TI with Letrozole + Ovidrel How far along are you? 12,6 How are you feeling? Exhausted. Just completely wiped. Have any important dr. appts? Nothing too crazy. I've got a standard OB appt on Monday. QOTW: Do you have any weird talents? Okay, I consider this a talent, but don't make fun of me. I can always, ALWAYS pause a video on the frame where someone is making a weird or rather unattractive face. I have made a game of it sometimes, it's so uncanny. It works with both animation and live-action.

Hi ladies. Just wanted to say Hello. Nothing new to report here today -- just staying busy chasing after two nearly two-year olds. Not sure how it is possible they turn 2 in a few weeks! Both are getting big (Isla is 26lbs and Ciaran is 21.5) and chatting up a storm these days. Their newest thing is to say "oh, gosh" all the time -- whenever the would have said "uh-oh" before is now "oh, gosh." Cracks me up every time.
We do have some big news pending regarding Ciaran's health. He had a very important blood draw yesterday. The results should give us a good idea of his current kidney function and a pretty reliable guesstimate on the chances of needing a kidney transplant in the future. I am waiting very anxiously for the call with the results.
That's about it around here.
Edited to add QOTW: weird talent... I guess I would have to go with whistling on acorn tops. Small, large, doesn't matter. I can make the most obnoxious, loudest high pitched whistle using pretty much any acorn top. Guess it could come in handy if I ever got lost in the woods...

Welcome Rama!!!!! QOTW: Do you have any weird talents? Not really. I organize things really well but I'm not sure that is weird or unusual. How far along are you? 21 weeks How are you feeling? Good overall! Faith is moving around a lot more but her movements are still kind of muted with my anterior placenta. I feel her the hardest when she is kicking around my pubic bone. She's gotten a few good kicks lately so I think in the next week or so DH should be able to feel it from the outside. Have any important dr. appts? No more "big" appointments until a 32 week growth scan since I'm AMA. Our AS was completely normal so I now get to be treated as a "normal" pregnant woman.

sprig78, I'll be keeping things crossed for good news for your LO! How far along are you? Tomorrow will be 16 weeks. How are you feeling? Pretty great actually. No complaints except some weird pressure feeling every once in a while. I'm guessing it's normal? Have any important dr. appts? Next week just a normal OB appointment. QOTW: Nope, I don't even have any normal talents. I wish I was good at something, but I am pretty much just average at everything.

So, results are in for my son. His calculated kidney function is 58% -- a result over 50% dramatically reduces the changes he will someday need a kidney transplant. So, we are over 50% but not by much. Good news, but by no means great news as it is too close to get comfortable. I know I should be happy... But my anxiety has kicked in big time. I was really hoping for 60% or higher...
Edited to add:
And in other news, I just got a message from the kids daycare asking if we have started potty training yet. I responded that, no, we have not actively started pursuing potty training as they are only not quite 2, but we do talk about how babies use diapers but big kids use the potty like grown ups, etc. The teacher responded to let me know that Ciaran had asked to sit on the potty out of the blue and actually peed! He was so proud of himself he ran to the other teacher to tell her all about it. Guess he thinks he is a big kid now! Too cute!

sprig78, Glad to hear results are over the 50% but I understand that it's not as high as you would have hoped. Take the little victories as they come though. And the fact that your LO asked to sit on the potty and used it is so great! What a big day!

J is 4 months old. She is such a bundle of fun. She loves attention. Today she’s getting her second round of shots. 🙁
