So I decided to just get this started and see who's interested. If we have enough activity maybe we could break it up into trimesters but it seems like the consensus was to start with one big check in and see who is here and interested. If anyone has any suggestions for this check in let me know.
Welcome to the PAIF check-in. This is a check in for anyone who is pregnant (in any trimester) after struggling with infertility. It will be posted on Sunday each week.
Since this is everyone's first time checking in here: Congrats! We are glad to see you over here. If you’d like to be added, please TAG ME (cali) in your post and answer the following:
1. Your EDD 2. How many, if you know, beans you have cooking. 3. What treatment got you your BFP 4. How far are you now? 5. Symptom check: 6. What and when is your next appointment? 7. Anything you’d like to share with the group?
QOTW: What is your favorite summertime activity?

Thanks, cali! 1. Your EDD - 8/23/16 2. How many, if you know, beans you have cooking. - 1 little girl. 3. What treatment got you your BFP - medicated TI 4. How far are you now? - 27+4 5. Symptom check: - I get heartburn just by looking at acidic foods, and Zantac + tums is barely touching it, but other than that not much to report. 6. What and when is your next appointment? - starting with the MFM for NSTs/BPPs on Tuesday. That came quickly! 7. Anything you’d like to share with the group? - she's been moving less than normal the last day or so, which is obviously unnerving. Doppler has her HB at a perfect rate, and when she does move around she is pretty active, it just seems like the frequency of active periods has decreased. I'm thinking she is just having a lazy weekend, which is fine, but damn girl.. movement keeps mama sane! QOTW: What is your favorite summertime activity? - typically, day drinking at BBQs and enjoying cool summer nights outdoors with friends (and more wine, obv). Pregnant? Not many things. Summer is hot, and bleh.

Also got a few other things from our registry so we are on our way. I got no clothes which is great because my mother has that covered.
QOTW: What is your favorite summertime activity? Just vbeing outside. I like to swim, read outside, and garden.

king26 - my swelling was no joke with TT towards the end. We referred to my feet/ankles as my sausages. Get yourself some compression socks, they really do help!

Thanks for the check in cali ! 1. 11/23, Thanksgiving day. 2. 1 Team Green kiddo 3. FET #3 (ICSI & CCS) 4. 14 weeks 5 days 5. Not too much, I do get up at least once a night to pee. 6. Next week for my 16 week. 7. So I was thinking I was past the point of needing a Doppler since I'm hoping to feel movement in a few weeks. But after reading ketchup check in I'm thinking it's still a worthwhile investment. So do I get it and which one? QOTW: Either taking a drive in the jeep or taking the kayaks out.

I joined! Thanks cali for the check-in! 1. Your EDD 10/17 2. How many, if you know, beans you have cooking. 13. What treatment got you your BFP IVF + ICSI4. How far are you now? 20 weeks!5. Symptom check: I'm feeling like a heaviness, pressure, or sore feeling in my uterus. Other than that, just hungry and tired.6. What and when is your next appointment? Today! just a regular OB7. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I have anterior placenta. But I've been feeling some movement I think! It's ok to just feel movement on one side, right? I'm pretty sure it's baby's hands since it's down low. The a/s showed her legs up top.
QOTW: What is your favorite summertime activity? going to the beach or pool. Hoping to get to a beach in a couple weeks!

-snip- 7. So I was thinking I was past the point of needing a Doppler since I'm hoping to feel movement in a few weeks. But after reading ketchup check in I'm thinking it's still a worthwhile investment. So do I get it and which one? I will say that I don't use the doppler as much once consistent movement starts, but yeah.. in situations like this weekend, it has benefits even in 3rd tri. At 15/16w, I was still using it almost daily for peace of mind. Basically, it isn't too late if you think it will be helpful to you. I (and a lot of us) have the Sonoline B. I got mine for $40 (?) new on ebay when I was pg with TT. If you decide to get one, don't worry about needing to spend $$$$ on fanceh u/s gel, using aloe vera works just as well and is much cheaper.

codex320, when I first started feeling movement, it was mostly on one side. Now that the baby is bigger, I feel it moving around on both sides (I assume hands and feet are going at the same time).

I have a Sonoline B, and at 17w, I'm using it close to daily. It has seriously kept me sane, especially since my last u/s was almost 5 weeks ago.

Welcome and congrats, @pinklantern! The days crawl at this stage, so FX Monday comes quickly. Okay, well.. that Monday comes quickly, your appt goes fast, and the nurse calls you with the results in a decent window of time. That's what I mean.
edit bc there are two n's in lantern.

laurensc927, even at almost 32 weeks I still use my Doppler. I actually used it a couple days ago because he wasn't moving much. He always perks up and kicks at the wand. Lol

@ cali, count me in!
1. Dec. 1 2. One boy! 3. IUI #2 due to MFI. 4. 14 weeks, 2 days 5. Nothing June, ah! A/S July 6th. I'm actually pretty relaxed since we had the NT scan and the FISH testing done. 6. I've lost 8lbs from throwing up. I think I'm finally coming out of the horrible sickness haze. FX! 7. This is number two for us and the anxiety is less this time around for many reasons. I have a DD who's 19 months going on 5 from IUI #1 on the first go round. She an amazing handful.
