blackmamba I did aquafor tonight, so we'll see how he is in the morning. We'll probably try the sensitive diapers.

duskymonkey So excited you were discharged and baby is doing okay!! Rama Great news on the DNA testing - so happy for you! Also - add me to the list of moms who have been peed on by their DS. The worst was when it happened in an airplane bathroom and I didn't have a change of clothes....

rachydc, Thanks for sharing your story! I'm sorry your last labor was so long and drawn out. DD came on her own and my entire labor was 12 hours from the first contraction to birth. My midwife thinks this labor, even induced, will progress quickly as well. Of course, the baby may have jokes and drag it out just to trick us, hahaha. But I'm going into it with a "breezy", open mind, knowing that anything can happen. Hopefully that will make it easier on me, at least mentally, right?

thatgirlrachel I think going in with an open mind is the most important part of any birth plan. I never had a birth plan, I know they're important and helpful to many people, but I also think you have to be able to go with the flow and be willing to deviate if necessary.

That feel when you're just about asleep and suddenly from your belly... Hiccup. Hiccup. Hiccup hiccup hiccup hiccup hiccup hiccup hiccup hiccup hiccup hiccup hiccup. This doesn't end with pregnancy. Also relevant... that feeling you get when you JUST got baby to sleep and you're about to put her down when *hiccup, hiccup, hiccup* ... she wakes up.

And I've never seen a newborn that enjoys the hiccups

DS can pretty much ignore his hiccups, which is good considering how much he gets them.
We had his "2 week" check up earlier today. He's 6lbs 3oz and 19.5 inches long. On the nornal charts He's like in the 1st and 2nd percentile, but when you adjust for his preemie age, he's about30th percentile for weight and 50th percentile for length.
He's well over his birth weight, so now doc says I don't have to wake to feed at night. She still wants us to wake every 3 hours during the day.
