skinandbones , yes they are close - that's a brillant idea! jedi , no to the couch. Her sleep problems started when I was pregnant with C. We started on the couch. It's a major improvement she starts out in her bed until about midnight. Then she wakes up and wants to come to our room. Some nights she sleeps just fine but most nights not. I forgot to mention i was so upset last night that I kicked her out of her bed at 1 am and put her in time out for waking C up. I am not my best when i am over tired. Have done. I have also gotten up and slept in the empty kid bed. Because I love sleep.

Guise i just can't anymore with less than 5 hours of sleep. A is still saying that she is "hearing a noise" when she is sleeping, thus not wanting to stay in her bed. She wants to sleep in our bed. When we take her back she cries hysterically and wakes up C. Who will not go back down but wants to be rocked. And you rock him to sleep but the second you stand up he wakes up and rinse and repeat. We have tried bribes, we bought new bedding this weekend that she picked out, we have used threats, and pleads. Nothing works. I don't' know what else to do besides lock her bedroom door. It's not monsters. She says the noise is someone walking. Or it is outside. I think she is dreaming. And the kicker is, I don't give a F if she sleeps in our bed. She's 4 and she won't do it forever. It's my h who gets all bent out of shape about her being in bed with us. So much so he moves to the couch. And he doesn't want to sleep on the couch. But it's not him getting up with her in the motn, it's me, cause she doesn't want him. I am over. I am out of ideas. I need guidance. And sleep. Lots of sleep. tl;dr - My 4 yo keeps waking up the entire house because she wants to sleep in my bed. I miss sleep. No advice, just all my sorries. I lock J in his room, but it would stress me out if I thought he was scared in there from dreams or noises or whatever. I know he's just a needy 2 year old.

jedi everything came back great with my labs, so the embryo transfer will be the 28th, a week from Thursday. CestLaVie Portland will be one day to enjoy the city, then the morning of the transfer. After the transfer I'm on bed rest the rest of Thursday and all day Friday. At last that makes packing for me easier 😂

Feeling yucky today ... Like weak and tired and a strange stomach. Hopefully a nap will help. I have no energy in my legs and arms .. Its a very strange feeling. I may have over done it at the gym this morning too but it felt good at the time.

Life has been going hard with H on his big trip, then A was sick, then H was sick when he got back, then his parents came to visit and they were sick, now I am sick. Guess it makes sense.
Life is good though. Just getting ready for new baby. A is still struggling pretty hard with preschool. I have guilt because it's not like she *needs* to go, but her teachers are optimistic that she'll be fine and I trust then to let me know when we should call it and try again next year.

fierymama A never lets me get a good look at her teeth, but she went through this phase recently where she wasn't eating much at all and her behavior was terrible. Looking back on it, me thinks it was teething.

Oh, also A has regressed a bit with potty training. For a while there she was completely day time trained, and now she will have little accidents. Like go a little bit at a time if she has bottoms on. She will try to hold it as long as she can and will refuse if I try to make her go. She is fine if she is naked at home. And actually she is much better in clothes out and about. So the main problem is clothed at home. I try to just keep her bottomless at home if I can, but she isn't always a fan of that. I was so into potty training when we started a couple months ago and now I just can't muster up the energy to try and work with her more on it....

I had an appointment with a dermatologist today for a small lump on my leg that is super painful-she thinks it's probably hormonal. I have a prescription for a topical steroid that will hopefully help get rid of it. It's a very small lump, but incredibly painful when something rubs against it (like in bed. It wakes me up from a deep sleep multiple times a night and its super annoying). If the steroid doesn't work after 2 weeks, then well just try to excise it. After, I went wig shopping with my mom. Her hair is falling out again. It had started growing back last year when they switched her chemo drug, but then it started falling out again about 6 weeks ago. We found a nice wig though.
