Oh thank god. Are things still up in the air? I was offline a bunch today and am trying to catch up. People are still pissed and straddling both forums? Sighs. I just need somewhere to bitch about my pp shedding. Hair hair everywhere!

Also I had all these thoughts while doing my crazy early and late night driving yesterday and no where to put them because of all this forum nonsense.
1. The turnpike has miles and miles of concrete dividers. I'm curious about what impact this has on animal migration and gene pools.
2. What if the credit card machines on the gas pumps are down? I haven't had to go inside to pay with cash since high school. And you paid after you pumped your gas. I don't know how much it will take to fill my tank. Do I then have to go back in and get my change? ARCHAIC.
3. I go through a mountain tunnel. One side is a nice modern concrete tube situation. The other side is old and rectangular and covered in subway type tiles. Ceiling tiles are missing. Do you know where those ceiling tiles go? They fall on your car. ETA: one did not fall on my car but I had the late night driving paranoia

And I brought back a 7 foot tall grandfather clock that my great grandfather made. It's why I had to drive solo, needed all the seats down so no car seats or passengers allowed. I'll be damned if that sucker didn't chime with every bump, curve, and change of speed. Felt like I was in church the entire 4.5 hours.

I've been wanting to share my minor crisis from the last day with you guys. We had a 22 hour power outage and I was pretty close to flipping out over the 600 oz of breastmilk in my freezer. A couple more hours and I would have made my H take our chest freezer to his parents house. Also the storm hit right as we were leaving a new friend's house (they live a mile from us so we walked). They were hosting a sip & see for all their coworkers so we had intended just to drop by but then we're stuck there for an hour and a half. It ended up being fun, just unexpected and a little awkward. It's been a weird weekend at our house.

Lakes, girl, you need a drink. As for your thoughts: 1. I have thought about that and it makes me sad. We (humans) have seriously fucked with nature and animals. No idea how it may impact gene pools but I'm sure there is some sort of connection. 2. My interaction inside a gas station would be so awkward. I also haven't done that since HS. I'd be like, "um, here, here's some money? Now... may I have some gas for my car? Yeah, that one, there? K, thanks. Bye" OMG. We would have to bring it children in with us! I have anxiety just thinking about it. 3. Did one fall on you?!?! 4. Ding dong.

I'm amazed you could fit a grandfather clock in your car Lakes! I've wondered about how to pay for gas if I wasn't using my credit card before too. It's been ages and ages since I've paid with cash.

I am just now sitting down to eat dinner, tried for an earlier bedtime tonight and R decided it was a nap. I spent the last 2.5 hours trying to get him back down. Now I'm eating ramen noodles? Crazy, haven't had them in forever but they sounded so good.

Omg carrots I would have been a wreck. That happened to me with ds and I had the same emergency plan of hauling it all to the inlaws. I'm glad it turned out okay though!

The machines were down at a local gas station the other week. I just drove away and said eff that, plus I had the kids. But on this trip I'd be out of luck because there's some long stretches without exits or gas stations.

heybulldog drinks were covered earlier! Our friends with the two month old had a BBQ so we walked over and had a lovely afternoon with adult beverages.

I have registered for so many forum this past week! I'm glad I found this place because I had some exciting news to share. For the first time, I got BOTH kids to nap AT THE SAME TIME! It felt like I won the lottery. carrots Our power went out on Friday but luckily it was only out 2 hours. I'm glad you didn't lose any breastmilk.

Between all of the board changes and my life being in boxes, I'm feeling slightly homeless this weekend. Mover made it to town today (personal friend with moving company) and luckily he and his crew will finish what I didn't get packed.
I'm currently laying on the floor trying to help my sore back and thinking about how I blew my low-carb intake with four pieces of pizza and a small brownie. At least the pizza was cracker crust?

B has been coughing since bedtime. His nose was also runny all day. I have a feeling he and I won't be sleeping well or much tonight. And J insisted that he would wake me up if he had to potty MOTN and is therefore without pull up. I know, I know, stupid and I better not bitch about having to change sheets in the MOTN. I just wanted to avoid pre-bed tantrums. I was so tired. Sigh. I'll bet I'll be even more tired tomorrow.

Oh heybulldog that stinks. I usually do the path of least resistant before bed too. You can bitch about changing sheets in the MOTN because it definitely sucks no matter the reason!

I'm here peaseblossom55. I'm irritated bc these free forums are blocked at work so I can't use my computer. I have to disable my wifi and use my phone. H is gonna be pissed when I use up all the data. The kids are testing though and I need to be entertained!

Funny work anecdote: at some point TCF was routing through a site called bumpbitches (which I think it what they named it immediately after the TB implosion). One day I got a call from IT asking me about it bc the site name got flagged but he checked out the website and it didn't seem malicious or inappropriate. I about died of embarrassment on the phone and have only gotten on TCF on my phone since.

I am so exhausted. The ballet was good yesterday, not the best ballet company but it was enjoyable. The time of the show made for a stressful evening in terms of driving home, getting E to bed and us eating dinner. Sometimes I just prefer staying in boring weekends then the stress of dealing with being out.
E has been real chatty since Friday and she keeps playing with her tongue making different sounds. I love it. I wish H didn't have a hockey game tonight. I'm so tired I could use the help.
