I still need to do wills.
Retirement funds. So, I have two accounts with old employers. One is really old, like going on 10 years. Would this money still be available for me to roll over? I've since had multiple address changes as well as a name change. I was only 21 when I left that company, and didn't know anything about 401ks other than that I should have one.
I also had one with my previous job but I can't for the life of me remember what company it was with.
I should probably figure that all out. I'm clearly super awesome at this adult thing.

jubilantsquirrel If you had a 401k with any previous company, you should be able to roll it into your current 401k.

You can definitely still roll it over. I bet it would be fun to see how much is waiting for you over there. The main reason to do so is to minimize your fees. I had two separate accounts at Vanguard, so I just combined those and started the rollover process for the old account. At most places once you reach a certain level, you get a reduced fee schedule. I still have other funds at TIAA, and that's where my most recent job my and Roth live (the Roth is my only active at this time). But I wanted to consolidate these before I combine again and decide who to do business with.

Fun fact: 401ks is what started the downhill slope of the end of my first marriage.
Well, it was already on a downhill slope but when I found out he was lying to me about it, I started a list. lol.

My coworker had me try her lipsense today. It's completely dried out my lips. She said they told her to expect that for the first few days. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'll let you know how it goes. ya it's definitley drying at first (it will exfoliate your lips a bit too, which helps it to last longer when applied next time). You need to make sure to reapply the gloss every so often.

Oh no sophiegrace. Pedatrician says we are still in the wait and see stage but gave us steroids just in case he takes a turn for the worse. The last dose of his inhaler really helped though. Regarding wills: DH met with someone who was suppose to write it and start a special needs trust for Monty while he was still in nicu. She never got back to us so that is on our to do list. Luckily we have since gotten several recommendations for specialists.

It's gonna be a long night. J will not sleep unless I'm holding him and I really don't feel like holding him upright all night long.

Ugh waitwhat, I know those nights well. Hope you get at a couple hours alone. sophiegrace that just sounds awful. Hope it passes quickly! jubilantsquirrel was today a preschool day for DS1? I imagine he's going to be more emotional and "take it out" on you more on those days. Sending you some extra patience and empathy.

H had a fever when we got home. Probably another EI. I'll dose him with Tylenol in the morning & see if I can get him into the pedi.

Omg is anyone healthy?? Feel better everyone! N has had a cold for about a month, but both eyes were leaky goop tonight, so I bet a fever is in our future as well. I finally contacted a lawyer about wills (I have a legal plan through work this year, essentially to get a will...need to do it before the year is up). I printed out the paperwork he needs and promptly got overwhelmed, mostly bc needs statements for all financial stuff and I don't have a printer at home, so will have to print at work. This is a lame excuse. dashook I feel you. today was the first day at daycare dropoff where I peaked through the window and she didn't look like a baby with big kids. And she's so long now. I poked my head back in and told her teacher she's so big and she agreed and seemed a bit sad as well.

FX for everyone tonight. Hoping tomorrow will be a better day for all!
I'm in bed but MH is still downstairs and I can hear him sneezing again and again. Really would like to avoid joining the sick club if I can 😕

JFC my H is sick also. But of course, his is 100x's worse than mine or J's. We both went up to bed at 8:30, and he grabbed an entire box of Kleenex for his night stand. And then proceeded to sneeze and cough his brains out and then every once in a while throw a little moan in there. #dramallama. I already have a sick child, I don't need another one.
