I am paid hourly so that shouldn't be a problem. The only problem is that I am not sure if I can technically be both on disability and also clocking in hours.

I definitely feel massive, but I know from how big I was with DS, that I have at least a couple more weeks until I get to my 'breaking point' of where I cannot get any bigger. I think I'll totally be done by 37 weeks

quinn, sympathy for being a mess. We went to a different grocery store yesterday and I was so overwhelmed that I started crying. I didn't know where things were, couldn't find things, and generally walked all around the store. It was too much. I'm pretty sure my H thought I was losing it. In addition to crying for no reason all of the time, my vagina feels like someone kicked it repeatedly. Come on pelvic floor, we are a team here. Work with me. I forgot how awful the last few weeks can be. I never made it past 34w so if I do this time, I am surely going to be a disaster. 34 was bad enough. I think going to a different grocery store for me right now would do me in. I can't handle that shit even when not hormonal

I almost died grocery shopping. My pelvis pain is unreal. Braxton hicks are pretty common. Then in the checkout line my daughter starts dancing saying she has to pee. I grab her and walk as fast as I can to the bathroom. Then I wrenched my back doing that. Add that to the pain I already had from my tumble the other day makes for a very painful, can barely walk kind of day. It's a tv day for the kids. Which is too bad because it's finally nice outside after 4 days of rain/almost freezing weather. But I just can't do anything.
Hoping MIL takes the kids tomorrow for a bit so I can rest. Also trying to book a chiropractor and or massage.
My son turns 5 at the end of the month and I have two parties to plan. Yay

doxiemama, +1 for people asking due date and looking slightly surprised. I will probably start lying and saying Nov 1st (to people who will not be keeping track!) Sorry you're feeling crappy cnf, quinn, cdnfarmgirl and all others! That sounds like a really good situation thatgolfb! Good for both you and your boss, and nice to know you're appreciated. Hi you, sorry things are being crazy for you, I hope you get it sorted out quickly! roloma, I HATE going to other groceries stores unless it's just for one or two things. I am a creature of habit! As for being out of breath/room, I haven't been too bad except for at yoga yesterday. Laying on my back with the legs up the wall was super uncomfortable, it pushed everything up into my ribs The yoga teacher just thought I was being awesome though and "doing what my body wanted" hehe Also, I broke out laughing b/c we were going into downward dog and she talked about having your legs wider to have room for your belly, and the wideness I actually needed was MUCH wider than I expected, haha. So in the same class I felt like I was both carrying high AND carrying low. So thanks for that, baby. She does teach another class, yoga for labour and delivery, which she says is more gentle and I should probably start going to that one soon

J is doing well. Less yellow these days. Super sweet and active. He has been on his new medicine for almost three weeks and doing great. It is a newer class of drugs for cancer that targets the molecular defect. Not chemo which was too toxic for him. So far no side effects. We get a scan in a couple of weeks to see if it is working. Everyone has had really good success with it. The problem is it is really new so limited long term data, not tested on kids, unknown pediatric dose, and no kids have come off of it yet. In adults with other kinds of cancers, they may develop resistance to it so that is a concern. We can still go back to chemo, change dose or add another drug. Our doctors think he will most likely need a liver transplant. My limited experience with other kids on this drug is that they didn't need it after being told they would. Hope this is the case.
I try to be hopeful about everything but this all sucks. If you give to charity, considered donating to pediatric cancer research like St Baldricks. Cancer is the number one disease killer of kids and research is lagging behind the adults. These are kids who have a full life to live. My kid was on one chemo that didn't work at all, causing more damage. Then he went on a chemo that was too toxic because of the damage from the cancer. He could have died if we didn't catch it. Other chemos were out (or would have damaged his liver more, forcing us to transplant, but he may not qualify if it was still active) so we going into the unknown. This wasn't an option two years ago.

Pdq Daycare. Our doctors said J could go back. He has a few health considerations but is actually doing great. He's a little behind on development but is catching up now that he isn't so sick. Our current daycare has been extremely difficult in allowing him to return. They found two reasons that were bogus. Other daycares have been very accommodating. It is onsite at my work so I eventually got someone at work involved who consulted legal because I claimed they were violating a law. I was told I made strong points and had a strong case. The attitude has changed now after they spoke to the daycare, but I don't know if I want my kids there. It just sucks.

My pelvis feels like I have been doing this for the last 24 hours. However, I can't even do that on my best non-pregnant day. I could barely get out of bed to pee last night, which is a problem because it's something I do often. I hope you keep this image on your phone forever. So many uses! I added the modesty stickers because I wasn't sure if the no posting nudity rules extended to inanimate objects.

Note to self: a bowl of Baked Potato soup from Panera will put you close to the magical 120 blood sugar level. Not over, but close. I actually thought I would be over so it was a nice surprise. Welcome kind of back (unhealthy) carbs.

We always talk about 36w as the magic number and I definitely used to be like "or longer!". Yeah, you won't catch me saying that anymore. 36w? Go ahead and GTFO kiddo. 37w is DS1 bday so I want to avoid that particular day but any time before would be great.

I got a box of fall/ Halloween decorations and also NB/ 0 - 3 mos clothes down from the attic this weekend. It appears to be mostly short sleeve onesies so I am debating on what to do about that. It doesn't get terribly cold here and he will most likely be swaddled up and in blankets so I dont know. I had DS in September and they obviously worked fine for him but now I'm debating. Maybe just get some pants?
I need to get some dreft and start washing. I have some pieces with stains that I think I will attempt to get out and if I can't I will toss them.
DS had his birthday this weekend and my parents came up for it which was nice. We got him a bike which he seems to love so far.
I've been feeling very much like this kid has no room in my belly either and I am wondering how my stomach will make the next couple of months.

So I was watching Counting On. The programme about the duggar family, and Jessa gives birth to her second little boy. When the baby started crying my right boob/nipple was itching, thought nothing of it until I felt that my shirt was wet.
Is that a let down? I never had anything like this with DS, hope that's a good sign!

you, It sounds like the new treatment is really promising. Continuing all the good thoughts. I'm sorry about daycare - that sucks. I totally get why you would want to not have your kids there but at the same time, it's so convenient.

I need to work on sorting and washing the infant clothes that I have - I'm hoping to get it done this weekend while DD is napping and H is golfing. Of course, I will probably wind up napping instead (which seems to be the trend lately). I hadn't even thought about a hospital bag until I saw the hospital bag thread on here - I can't remember how I had one packed before when most of the stuff I am still wearing.

Wow you, I'm glad to hear the new drug seems to be working. I'm always surprised by how much science is really just trial and error. I think I've said that before. Okay, add me to team wtf are these insane stabby cervix pains Walked to the grocery store about ten minutes away on my lunch break and was SO uncomfortable the whole way. It just came out of nowhere!

It's 90 here today. Its going to stay hot for like the next week and a half. My classroom gets afternoon sun through a wall of Windows so it's basically a green house. I was so overheated by the end of the day I left feeling sick. My 20 minute drive home with my A.C. blasting wasn't enough, I immediately got in a cold shower. I'm still uncomfortable. I literally cannot catch my breath. And I ripped my only pair of maternity shorts that are work appropriate a couple of weeks ago. I have no idea how I'm going to survive. I'm very worked up just thinking about it.
God I hope this kid comes early.

cnf I'm so sorry. Heat gets to me so easily. It is 80 degrees here and I went to two stores in the mall (our malls are outdoors) and was sweating a lot and had to sit down. The cold theater was amazing. Home Again was really cute. Also it looks like there are some good movies coming this winter.
