JFC with getting the hospital bags ready! I haven't done anything yet... you guys make me feel so unprepared lol I figure if I have chapstick, wallet, and my phone and charger I'm good. Pretty much always in my purse, so I guess I'm ready. 😂

My kid turned 3 in May and I honestly can't remember the last time he napped at home. He still naps twice a week at daycare. But honestly, I kind of like the days he doesn't nap because then he goes to bed at like 7 or 730 without a fight. +1 to exactly this except ds was 3 in June and randomly will fall asleep on the floor at home.

My husband is trying to pain Olympics me over a bad night's sleep that ended for everyone at 345am since DD woke up in tears. Lol, no. You weren't up every hour to change pisitions, every two hours to pee, and you slept with earplugs in. AND you're taking a half day so you'll be home at 1030 and we both know you're going to take a nap. Shove off with that noise.

I haven't started packing hospital bag yet. I have things put in a pile that are hospital bag items though lol. That's my job over the next couple weeks.
Sat in waiting room for the growth scan. So excited to see how she's getting on. I think I'm the most pregnant woman here as all the ladies keep looking at my belly lol, I can't see any other ladies with as big as bellies as me, maybe one other lady but she's very petite naturally

I need to like actually find things to put in a hospital bag. I'll so probably closer to the end of October. Car seat and base are in the garage. I want to wash the swing cover too yet. Plus find a coming home outfit and wash some Newborn clothes. But that's too much work.

I was just told at my appt today that they let you go to 41 weeks. I'm kind of getting nervous now because I was induced a week early with each of my first two (I had medical reasons for it though). I havent had any of these same medical reasons so as long as nothing happens or changes, they dont forsee another induction at this time. Im happy because I wanted to go naturally but now IDK if I can handle being over my due date!! Eeek! I know I am literally days late with this but the idea of seven more weeks of pregnancy (and that long until I can meet this baby!) makes me sad. I am right there with you! Induced at 38 weeks last time, so I'm just finding it all so weird for things to be good this time. I don't know what to do with myself. XD

Ds1 is angry at us today because we don't allow him to have social media. He yelled "it's not 1920 anymore" and proceeded to tell us that we know nothing and then hit his wall. Seriously, I prefer all the toddlers to one teenager. I'm dying at "it's not 1920 any more". Boy. Do you even know what 1920 was like? Or that social media didn't even exist in the 90s? I am going to have a hard time not bursting into laughter at my kids as teens sometimes.

All this no nap talk gives me anxiety lol. I really enjoy my 2-2.5 hours of quiet time everyday. Today we are shampooing our carpets. I think I'm finally feeling some nesting coming on. I want to clean all the things but my body does not agree. My almost 3 year old still naps hard during the day. In the last few months she went from 3 hours to 2, but she still NEEDS that nap. Days when she skips it or barely sleeps are hell by 5 pm.

I wanted to finish this thread before posting, roloma, so I could see all the updates. All the hugs and well wishes to you. I hope baby stays put! I was also not aware that I was contracting in my last pregnancy. They went on for months without doing anything to my cervix, so I hope you have the same experience. You tell that baby to stay put - and make sure you're putting your feet up and letting everyone take care of you!

Just caught up from the weekend. FX, roloma, I hope that baby stays put as long as possible. I also had no idea what contractions felt like during my first pregnancy. My doctor told me I was having one during one of my appointments and I was like "Oh, really?". So you're not alone. I have no hospital bag packed and just about zero baby prep done. We did assemble the crib last night though!
