Good morning! I got up at 5 and did yoga and had time to read in peace. It was lovely. I've already done laundry, breakfast, and cleaned so I am feeling quite productive. No solid plans today other than grilling fajitas tonight for dinner.

Littlest has the iPad, cartoons are on, coffee in bed= pretty good morning so far. DD spent the night at her bff's so I'll have to motivate in about an hour.

No real plans today. Folded and put away clean clothes is my only real goal.

I wish my kid would watch something semi normal like curious George or paw patrol etc. He has zero interest in tv. Zero. I so badly want him to get into it so we can have a break from time to time. He's 2.5, so I hope eventually he will sit and watch a show or movie.

The only thing he currently watches are these dumb homemade videos on YouTube of kids playing in ballpits or videos of kids wearing masks that look like baby faces and doing dumb things. They're so annoying and he asks for our phones constantly. Weirdo!

I fell asleep at 8pm last night bc I was exhausted from throwing my sister's baby shower. I'm definitely not always this productive this early, but it is a good feeling getting so much done in the morning.

I actually think the mismatched socks tread would make parenting a little easier. I hate trying to match socks from the laundry.

We are in Mexico! The two year old is being two but I ran on the beach this morning followed by a huge breakfast and a mimosa.

We are headed to the pool in a little bit. Need to get a babysitter set up for the wedding tonight.

It does. DD loves mismatched socks now & I just dump clean ones in her sock drawer now.

Good Morning! It's the day I let MH sleep in (I don't ever really sleep in because I'm broken) so I'm breakfasting with the kids. We just broke out the waffle iron and I'm letting DD make homemade whipped cream. This involves standing next to the Kitchen Aid saying "Whip, Whip, Whip!"

I would love a cleaning person. I work full time and H travels for work 50% of the time so it would be a huge help. He is super against it though, like really digging his heels in. And no H, do not want your mom coming in to clean our house either, as he has suggested.

Drinking coffee on the deck. The baby is napping and my son is playing nick jr games on the laptop with H.
Poor kid. Apparently those hooligans hit him in the side of the head too. His ear is all red and he's been asking for ice packs 😢

I have cramps and there's no Advil in the house.

Morning ladies. Today is our last day of our trip. I'm kind of looking forward to going home tomorrow. It's hard being out at hotels with kids when pretty much nothing is childproofed. But it's always nice to get away too.
