I would love to do a bounce house bday party for C but the nearest place is about 20 mins. They Y does them with their one bounce house and an obstacle course so we may look into that. I don't want to spend a ton of money for fear kids won't show. The party we went to yesterday we were one of two kids from school and while I have no idea who/how many were invited, they had two XL pizzas for about ten of us so I'm guessing some no showed. We are at a party now with a rented one. I think I am going to do that here. That and pizza. They are about $125 for 4hrs and the people come set them up. It would cost that much for $10 kids at anyplace else. This way I don't have to worry about limited invitations. One of his classmates is getting the Tumble Bus that comes to school for gymnastics. Also a cool idea

We are driving back from helping to unload my sister and BIL's uhaul. I'm tired and my stomach hurts so bad now. Hoping for a relaxing evening. When they moved to FL, was it just a temporary move or did things not work out for them there? I meant to ask you when you mentioned it last week. I know you were sad to seem them go this spring.

Didn't work out. He hated his job. He worked for his dad who is such a jerk. They weren't happy being away from Michigan and just were really unhappy there. He got a job here so they mived back and are staying with my parent's for a bit to save money/recoup from the money lost in the move. My sister is due in early Nov, so I'm so happy they're back!!!

So my BIL hid his weed in the firewood outside my parent's house (weird spot) and my mom found it and thought my dad started smoking! She moved it to the garage and my BIL went to get it and it was gone so my sister had to ask my parent's if they knew what happened to it lol

Welp. The guys doing our yard work today said we have "a snake problem" I love this house, but I'm ready to burn it down! Oh hell no. Does your brother or dad have this problem?

Charlie rolled over his pinkie toe with a portable space heater (we keep that, a tower fan and a portable air-conditioniner in the bottom of one of the coat closets. The closet has sliding doors, so he can pull it open; he plays peek-a-boo in there. So much blood. I would like the weekend to be over now.

Also a cool idea I've considered this but weather in late October can be hit or miss here and our house is kind of small. If it basement would ever actually get finished I'd do it. I called the Y and it's $200 for 20 kids and two hours. Food and decorations provided so we'd bring a cake. We may do it but I'm still up in the air. We are going to Great Wolf 10/15 and his cousins are coming as a surprise and then we have a family party 10/29. So we'd have to do it 10/21 and that could be overkill.

My work computer doesn't want to open the shared drive. Most of my work is on the shared drive. Does this mean I can go home early?

csho, surprisingly, yes. I held it tight for a while so I think the pressure stopped some of the gush.

SweetPotato once the yard starts getting maintained the snakes will cease to want to be there. They are probably just looking for tall grass to hide in.

SweetPotato have you seen any snakes? What kind of "problem" are we talking about here? I'm not really sure. They were grinding up some old tree stumps and found multiple snakes in two of them. I have never seen any, but I've spent exactly zero time in our backyard so far.
