@peaseblossom I throw a sweet potato in the oven every few days and cube that up for table foods. I've also had good luck with frozen cubes butternut squash and roasting off a few at a time. I find them at my publix and target has an organic bag for a reasonable price. I actually really need to step up my table food game because R is quickly over the purée life.

Dumb question on the squash - do you just put it on a baking sheet still frozen and roast? What temp? How long? This sounds like something M would love and so easy. We do a lot of roasted sweet potatoes for her.

Thank for the good suggestions I always wonder how much E should be eating and then there is always the % of food that never makes it into her mouth. meeggaannw do you cube the sweet potatoe before throwing it in the oven or after?

peaseblossom55 I cube the sweet potatoes before and also cut up some carrots. It's one of the few veggies I can get in DS lately and then I just cut the pieces even smaller for M.

I usually do the squash from frozen, sometimes tossed in a little coconut oil, onto a baking sheet at 375 for about 30 minutes. If I'm doing it for everyone I thaw them or buy fresh cubes and do 400 for 30 to make them like home fries. I actually bake the sweet potatoes while in foil and throw them in the fridge. I cube them as I'm feeding them. Sometimes I cube them and even sprinkle cinnamon before baking.
