Welcome to the IVF check-in for September 14! Check-ins will be every Monday (babyhopes) and Thursday (bonzo). If we've left you off the check-in, or if you'd like to be added or removed, please let us know! This is a check-in for those who are doing IVF or FET. Please don’t hesitate to use this check-in for IVF/FET info and support even if you’re not currently cycling. If you are interested in joining, please fill us in on your cycle. Everyone is welcome. Also, please update us along the way! Asterisks will appear by your name if you do not update us in a check-in. After four consecutive asterisks (2 weeks), you will be removed from the list. Don’t fret if you are removed from the list, check in again and we will add you back. Once you get a strong repeat beta, congrats! We eagerly await your 3TIF Grad Check-In posts! We encourage you to intro on PAIF, and while here in the meantime, please consistently use warning tags in posts and siggies, and be mindful of your status, especially on 3TIF outside this check-in. Trying not to cry. Transfer is delay because my uterus is not thick enough. He is going to see me next Wednesday morning and see if it is any better. I have to stay on the bad medicine. He said it might be cancelled:( if it's better, I have to go in on Monday 9/25 and will have transfer on 9/26. I will have to take the 26th and the 27th off. If not, I have to do the whole thing over again.

My lining is a 7. How bad is that?

((Hugs)) hoosiermama76, I really hope you don't have to cancel! I am not sure how "bad" 7 is, I've transferred at 9 and 10 I believe. Why do you have to take days off after transfer? I hope things look better on Wednesday. AFM: I met with my RE this morning. We are going to do a fresh cycle and up the gonal f to 300 and meopur at 150. Last time I was at 150 on the gonal f. Add in cetrotide eventually and trigger with HCG if all looks good. We are going to do a fresh transfer of one embryo if all goes well and PGS the remaining assuming we have some remaining. I still have not got my period. My last day on the progesterone was Tuesday so I am thinking it will just take some time. Once i get it I will go on BCP for 2 weeks and then start the gonal f and menopur.

jense927, I'm glad you and your RE have a plan to move forward. Good luck! AFM, I had my first monitoring appointment this morning, and all looks good so far. I also talked to the professor who is able to sub for me yesterday about the fact that I will need a sub one of two days at short notice and so we'll be all set if ER happens near those days. I didn't go into details about IVF, but let her know it's a medical thing and she understood. So that's a big weight off my shoulders, figuring out how to handle ER! Based on how long I stimmed last time, it's likely I'll actually have ER over a weekend though, but it makes me feel a lot better to have things covered!

bonzo, I'm so glad you have a plan for a sub! It takes a huge weight off. I'm so rooting for you. It will be here before you know it. jense927, thanks for your support. It's good to know that I don't have far to go. He is giving me a huge extra shot of estrace tomorrow so I'm hoping that will do it. At least I'm praying it is. My estrogen was low so at least there is an explanation.

hoosiermama76, sorry for the delay. That must be awful.... all amped up and ready to go and then an uncertain timeframe. I'll cross all things that the lining grows! AFM: waiting to start stims. Went to the injection class and my h finally started to "get it". He needed to see all of those steps I guess? I wish I understood my own protocol better - which is my own fault. But I have the list of meds now and will start doing some research. We are out of pocket and had to pick a financial package. MH wanted to only pay for the one cycle... and not multiple cycles. I am trying not to stress yet about his willingness to do multiple cycles. (I DO know we would try more than one FET...)

bonzo, Glad everything looks good and you got a sub if needed. It's so hard to plan for uncertainties. hoosiermama76, When I asked my RE what lining thickness he looks for, he said that he looks for an 8 but will transfer with a 7 and that he didn't think lining thickness was that important. Hopefully the extra estrogen thickens it up, though, and it's a non issue. jense927, I'm so sorry for the BFN and the uncertainty surrounding it. I'm glad you have a plan to move forward and I hope you have a great fresh cycle. happyin14, it's hard to decide what to do, especially being OOP. We went with paying for one cycle and I was so nervous the whole time we wouldn't wind up with any embryos. Fortunately, that wasn't the case. I hope your protocol works well for you! AFM, we got a date for transfer and a calendar! I thought that FETs were supposed to be easy but I feel like I'm going to be doing a ridiculous amount of shots with this between PIO, delestrogen, and lupron. I'm also doing an intralipid infusion which I don't know much about. Does anyone have experience with intralipid infusions?

happyin14, the class makes it all so real! It is hard to know what to do sometimes OOP. I don't think there is any wrong way to approach this. Everyone's journey will be different. bananas22, yay! That's exciting to have a transfer date!

bananas22, yay for a transfer date. I feel you on FET meds. I thought they were as involved as a fresh cycle, and that surprised me. Hope they treat you well:-) Glad to hear your RE doesn't think a 7 is that concerning. happyin14, good luck starting stims! The class makes it very real, and I'm glad your h finally feels confident:-)

hoosiermama76, I hope your transfer doesn't have to be cancelled. 7 is on the lower end, but from what I've heard it can be enough, especially if it's otherwise a tri-laminar lining. Keep us posted! jense927, I'm glad you have a plan! FX for you! happyin14, what kind of protocol do they have you doing? And the OOP stuff sucks so bad. The place I'm going doesn't have multi-round packages, so we're just paying for the one. bananas22, yay for a transfer date! bonzo, glad all is looking good and you have a sub - that definitely takes a weight off your shoulders! AFM, today is day 7 on Lupron, I took my last BCP pill on Friday so just waiting for AF. Since there's a chance I may not start a period at all (as seems to be how my body responds to coming off BCPs) the RE said he'd delay stims an extra day or two to make sure the BCP hormones are out of my system. So if no AF, stims will probably start Friday or Saturday instead of Thursday. Not having too many symptoms, other than sometimes running a bit hot - I think I had more issues with the BCPs than the Lupron! I picked up my Omnitrope last week and my Menopur and Gonal-F should arrive Tuesday. Excited to get to the active part, not excited about going from one injection a day to 3.

Hi. I remember the old TCF board.
I am PUPO and my beta is tomorrow. I'm not sure what to ask/say at this point but if you have any good vibes or successes for first timers, I would love to hear it.

daisy818, I'm doing antagonist protocol. I'm still trying to get a handle on which drugs when. I know the RE will give me directions all the time, I just want a better handle for myself than I do now. Also, I'm having some slight spotting.... which may make everything all off.

hoosiermama76 Lining issues suck. I'm sorry. Is your lining trilaminar? jense927 FX AF comes! bonzo I'm so glad you were able to secure coverage at work in case ER lands on a weekday. I'm sure that takes some stress off! happyin14 it's so hard to make these big decisions based on what ifs about a cycle. GL lady! bananas22 yay for a date! I'm sorry the protocol is overwhelming. No experience with intralipids over here. daisy818 you're getting close!! mela99 welcome. GL tomorrow. AFM, AF finally showed up yesterday, so baseline is tomorrow. I'm looking forward to dropping down my Lupron. I hate Lupron! I need to get my thoughts in a better spot going into this cycle. I feel like such a Negative Nancy right now.

birch113, glad AF showed up. How long are you on Lupron for before you start stims? I hope you can get to a better spot. There is nothing worse than starting a cycle off negative :/ daisy818, exciting that stims are just around the corner! I hope all goes well. mela99, welcome and good luck at betas I got AF on Saturday. Started BCPs yesterday and my suppression check is officially scheduled for Oct 6th. It is a Friday. I love when things work out to Fridays. I work from home on Fridays and it is just so much easier to make the appointments work. Still waiting to get everything through insurance and get the details on the costs with PGS but we are underway!

I think I'm going to throw up at work. I don't know if it's nerves or MS.
I had the test and DH will be getting the call. He will tell me what the result is when I get home...
