rebeccabunch, glad the AS went well, try not to stress yourself out! bootsorhearts1, I'm thinking of your dad and I'm sorry that you have to figure all this out right now. Hugs. parma986, post pics of the hair! caitost21, sorry you're having tough times working out the schedule with the therapist. That sucks. You're allowed to be ragey. 3 weeks from now (or sooner, but I doubt it) I'll have an outside baby. That's nuts. Ish is getting real.

caitost21 I am totally with you in not wanting to wait 6-8 weeks to start! Do you have an overall coordinator who could help/advocate for you all? Not sure where you're at but when DD entered speech at 18 months she got a case coordinator who helped us get in contact with two agencies and get DD on one of their speech schedules. I hope you all can work something out - ugh what a hassle in these last few weeks of pregnancy too!!

Yes he does and I sent her an email detailing our availability both now, during maternity leave and then when I go back to work. I'm sure she thinks I'm crazy/obsessive. She got back to me but couldn't tell me when we would be assigned to a new therapist. I got the report so I'm a little less ragey but I'll still keep on her. I'm trying to not be impatient and I know they have other kids who need services too but I'm in that mama bear mode where my kid clearly needs help and I want it now. I wish I could have a glass of wine to calm myself lol

All my baby stuff from my Amazon order is showing up. My nesting has kicked into high gear and I wanted to organize all the baby stuff! DD thinks most of these boxes are for her baby dolls. The infant car seat I hauled up last weekend has a doll in it, Elmo is sitting in the rock n play, some stuffed animals are on the play at,.. Luckily baby probably won't mind sharing her things just yet.

I need to read through and catch up. The last two days have been crazy. We lost cable and internet on Monday, so I went over to my parents' to borrow some of their internets to work. Luckily daycare opened back up today so I could get rid of DS for the day.
Today the new guy started on all the testing, but it was still a busy day for me. I'm not even sure what I occupied my time with, lol. My coworkers gave me a nice Amazon gift card as a baby gift, so that was really sweet.
I had an appointment today which went really well. I asked my doctor about when I should have an ultrasound to check out my fluid levels. He said we could take a quick peek now. As we walked down the hall he said that every pregnancy is different and so far I'm measuring right on track. Sure enough there was lots of fluids in there. It was nice to see him again and get some reassurance. It was a really quick scan so he didn't look at size or anything. I'm not even sure that I saw his face, though I did get a nice shot of his package. haha. My doc covered the screen and asked, "oh do you know what it is yet?" I said, "yeah, but it's hard to miss!"

I hope the coordinator can get another therapist with better availability, caitost21Even though we have 6 months to go, I'm nervous about when DS ages out of the early intervention program at 3. The school system would pick up from there, but that would involve taking him to a school, probably at a time that just wouldn't work for me. I'm hoping his speech improves so much that he won't need anymore services and this worry will be for nothing.

The school system would pick up from there, but that would involve taking him to a school, probably at a time that just wouldn't work for me. I'm hoping his speech improves so much that he won't need anymore services and this worry will be for nothing. My DD is most likely getting "kicked out" of our program. She was re-evaluated last week and the only errors they heard were articulation errors which don't usually alone land a kid on the intervention list. She turns 3 in March and if she does happen to re-qualify (or continue to qualify?) we could send her to headstart (or more likely she would leave daycare to go to headstart and then return). Don't know if that's option for you all or not in your area. I wasn't crazy about the idea of headstart but ours assured us it's only like 2 half days a week for 3 year olds. Still seems super little for "real" school but It may not be a bridge we have to cross here anyway now. Hopefully your DS makes big strides before you all hit 3 as well. EI made a huge difference in DDs speech and eating therapy.

A+ food choices today ladies. I had my usual skor mcflurry after yoga class. So good!
Add me to the wincing in pain from this baby. It's really awkward when you are with someone who barely knows you and you start making funny faces at work.

bootsorhearts1 Like is for your dad improving. You are in such a tough position and I really feel for you. I would want to hop on a plane too, but I know my doctor would nix that too. Sending you wisdom and healing thoughts to your dad as you make your decision on what to do next. rebeccabunch Yay for a great AS! 3.6cm sounds like a great cervical length! Mine has been around 2.9 or 3 this entire pregnancy. I believe it was the same for DS too, and he came around 38 weeks. mkrupar So happy they discharged you - yay!!! Enjoy your visiting time with E, and I am sure your DD will be so happy to have you home!

We had a pretty good day! DS had his 2.5 year check up and didn't cry when he got his 2 shots. I'm sooooo proud of him đ. Boy did he look pissed when they stuck him with the needle in each arm though. He just gave this death stare and looked at me like - "WTF are they doing to me - this is so not cool." Luckily, before he got too angry, we got him all excited about the cool "stickers" (band-aids) they put on his arms, and we asked him to show us his muscles. Sure enough, that distracted him enough to start smiling and showing off with his muscle pose. Phew!đ
I am feeling okay...still trying to stay convinced that the baby has turned head down and I won't need a c-section. I will find out tomorrow for sure when I see my MFM for an ultrasound. Fingers crossed! đ¤đ¤ The One good thing about tots having a short attention span đ
...they get distracted easily! hope your US went well and bubs is already head down otherwise you still have time. đ¤ Sending lots of positive head downs your way. With all you have I wouldnt think versions or any other options to help bubs head down is possible? ETA. Duh. Never mind I just caught up and saw bubs is head down! And stays down! Yay!

bootsorhearts1, I missed the situation with your dad âšī¸ I'm so sorry but happy to hear he's on an upswing. It so so hard living far away from your folks as they age. My mom started a convo about it last week as we were on our way to fetch DS from school and I shut it down cos I was about to ugly cry. My sister and I have been avoiding this convo but at some point we need to talk about it....it's just so hard.

rebeccabunch, glad to hear your AS went well! Reassured by everyone else your cervix length is normal! During my AS was when we found out I was already 1cm dilated with virtually no cervix left and I'm now approaching 37 weeks! Albeit I had to go on MBR. Worry if you must but you're ok!
