I have no idea what the movies are klong11 and tgrimes have mentioned. I'm so out of the loop on movies. I only know of them because I went on the movie website to get tickets. Lol.

I get annoyed when I come home and my mom has watch the kids and the house is destroyed. I can't imagine coming home to a paid sitter leaving the house destroyed. I would probably never use them again. I always wash dishes and cleaned up after the kids and even did laundry when one little girl got sick until the parents could get home. And that was when I was 11! Once we're in the house I need to find a Dependable sitter that isn't related. I feel guilty using family all the time even though they tell me constantly they don't mind. But I'd like to have someone come to the house and have them in bed when I get home. This is how I feel about it and I also started babysitting at 11. This girl is 15 which is why I feel that training her is a lost cause. The time that she left popcorn all over the living room was right after she responded to my husband's inquiry about a housekeeper on our neighborhood app. I was flat out against having her as a maid. I wanted a professional who knows what to do--not some kid who we have to tell what to do every step of the way. My husband didn't understand my reservations against her being our maid and then when she left our house trashed he dropped it really quickly. The girl is really nice, but she doesn't take the job seriously. MH almost acts like it's a charity case or something and I'm like eff that, she's lives in a nicer house than we do. She's also old enough to get a real job if she needs money. Mh started out with paying her way too much and not having any instructions/limited expectations so I think she just looks at it as an opportunity for easy money. I can't even imagine going to someone's house to work and asking for the wifi password which she did the first time she came over. She's only watched the kids a few times, but I'm done.

Doctor says the treatments are safe and maybe even ideal, because they have been used for people with PID who have had fertility problems or repeated miscarriages. But for now, I can hold off. No need to start immediately.
I tell Pete this information, he replies, "yeah, well I better think about getting snipped since your fertility is only going to increase!"
Um, excuse me? You already said you would, not you'd think about it. I told him if he expects to ever have sex again, he's getting it done and he better be quick about it.

And my cousin just liked an alternative immunization page on FB. Guess we won't be visiting her baby any more.

Colin has already been to the pediatrician today to have his face glued. Again. And I just got a call to expect an egg on Chase's forehead. They laughed and assured me that this is just a phase, but clearly they don't know me or DH well...

They laughed and assured me that this is just a phase, but clearly they don't know me or DH well... What happened? Playground accidents. Colin before 9:30am cut himself right below the chin, in a spot where the skin is particularly thin. If the cut had been anywhere else (aside for close to his eye), it wouldn't have been a big deal. He's just really good at maiming himself in the most sensitive areas. Then Chase smacked his head hard on the tunnel outside after naptime. I also got a call for him yesterday for a biting incident (he got bit - he's a bit of a notorious toy snatcher). I'm pretty sure daycare has me on speed dial.

One time I hired a sitter I've never used when Millie still pretty young. When I came home I asked how everything went and she didn't tell me that anything went wrong so I thought they had a good night. The next day I find Millie with a piece of glass in her mouth! I scream "why is there a glass on the floor!?!" Carter said that he and the babysitter were throwing the ball in the house and knocked over a glass candle off the mantle.she never said a word to me. I wasn't even mad that glass broke but I was mad that she didn't tell me because glass is hard to pick up. Millie had glass in her mouth like three more times. Needless to say I never called her back again.

I think I got the wrong kid at pick up. She is crying at the drop of a hat. We've had like 4 meltdowns and i haven't even had her for an hour yet. I have put her in her tent with her sleeping bag, juice, and the tablet to give her some quiet time. My guess is that she didn't nap.

Well, my appt with the orthopedist didn't go how I expected. He wouldn't give me a shot because he thinks it's a nerve issue and not the tendonitis. I have to go back for a nerve conduction study in a few weeks. I was really just hoping for a shot and then to be done with it.
Sierra's appt was good. They were happy with her development (it's progressing). But she said this is the age that a lot of kids seizures tend to spike, so to keep an eye on that.
The crazy thing of the day though, was running into a good friend that I don't see real often. She lives 45 minutes from me, she has 3 kids and has been taking care of her younger sister for the last few years too. So between that and busy lives with work we have lunch like twice a year. Well she was at the Children's hospital with her oldest for a specialist visit and we were there for S. So we laughed about having to drive 3 hours to see each other.

I'm afraid to say it because if I do it will probably never happen again but my kids played together, nicely, for most of the day today. Of course there was a little fighting but for the most part good times were had by all.
Also, washing comforters is the worst, it took forever for it to dry.

Such a busy day at work and I had my first bump in the road with my boss. I won't get into it but I'm on edge a bit. I should just feel lucky that I've been there a year and this was the first issue with her.

I've made it 3 nights solo with no wine, I think I deserve a glass or 3 N was a disaster at pickup. Wouldn't walk up the stairs and was crying for daddy so we FaceTimed him when we got home. His flight was delayed over an hour so it'll be close to midnight before he gets home.

I walked into dog poop in the family room today. I didn't see it fast enough and L ran over and picked it up. Ew. Of course C thought it was HILARIOUS.
