I just posted the following photo on fb with the caption "looks like he's got both of grandmothers green thumbs" then i tagged my mil and my mom. My mil responded right away by saying good job Ethan that was half dead. Should that bother me? It kinda bothers me.

Let me add that when I sent a video of Isaac swimming and thanking her for the lesson she said "is there a lifeguard there? He's not afraid of the water which is a good and bad thing. Cute video"

When I sent a funny video of Ethan putting a bucket on his head and walking into a chair it was "oh poor boy. I hope he doesn't get hurt"

When I sent a video of Ethan trying to get his paci in his mouth on his own when he was like 4th months old she told me she felt sorry for him

When I posted the weighted blanket on Facebook (and tagged her) that we made together for s1 last year she emailed me to say she looked awful and to take it down

Pissed b/c one of my co-workers sent a nasty email trying to say I didn't do what I was supposed to do...but I was waiting on her to send me info. She copied our supervisor on it. WTF?! avocadotoast and Betweenthelines. DH swears by acupuncture for back issues. It is important to definitely go with a reputable person (not just a massage therapist who attended a one day training, you know?). Ours is a Chinese medicine doctor who we go to. My BFF also swears by osteopathy for her back issues (Betweenthelines she has major back issues and last summer her bulging disc tore last summer and osteo helped the most)

I also love acupuncture!
Suggestion for those that might not have the extra cash to go often... look for community acupuncture. Lots of people getting it done in a room at the same time. Sounds weird but it still does good! You stay dressed, obviously and it is mostly on head/face, arms, hands, legs and feet. Still very relaxing. My guy was very good and not too proud to look stuff up when he needed to, which I appreciated. I went to help regulate my sleep and cycle, I think it helped.

I'm lucky I don't have super severe pain, but every morning when I wake up my lower back is extremely tight. I can't bend or walk until I spend a few minutes stretching out first. Massage helps, but doesn't last long. I find massage more effective on other areas, lower back seems a bit trickier.

Took DS over to his friends house hoping I could talk to an adult while they played. The boys bickered almost the entire time. Kaylee was glued to my lap. All adults had a beverage because it was just chaos with the kids.

DS had actually fallen asleep on the couch around 6 and I kept waking him up so he would sleep tonight. It was a little after 7 that we went to the neighbors. So glad kids are in bed. I am exhausted.

jedi, I blocked my mil on fb a year ago. Otherwise, she is that kind of commenter too. You have my sympathies. I blocked her from seeing certain pictures before then, especially when I just didn't want to hear it that day.
