He expects us to win, at least. I want them to stop showing that guy's face. I can't with those eyebrows. LOL I thought that he was a bit unfortunate looking.

One of the bands I used to listen to a lot had a falling out with their lead singer a decade ago, just after I started listening to them. I just don't enjoy their new stuff, but I've been listening to the old stuff, with the old singer, and really wishing that they would do like one more tour with her because I would totally pay anything to go see them. But that's never going to happen =(

Ughhhhhh. That was smoked. Eff. I mean we're still ahead. But I'd like to wrap this series up and save our energy. Oh, and I'm watching with my yankees fan H....Yuck. I thought of course, everyone was talking about the Packers game..

Thanks for the heads up! It's been a hard morning for all of us. Missing my gals but I know they are in good hands. What did you decide for childcare?

Well. We have THREE COUPLES joining us in a few weeks, as houseguests. Guest room, check. Playroom + blow up mattress, check.
Last on the list was my sewing room which has been unusable since we moved in - boxes of books and fabric. A year. Yeesh.
Today H and I (oh so helpful) sorted through boxes of fabric, and I'll donate the rest (for fabric recycling) the scraps.
Some things moved to the attic, and we got the futon INTO THE SEWING ROOM! Over the next week, I need to declutter in there (all my sewing stuff does live in there, strewn about), but it is totally visitable by non-picky guests, which, luckily enough, all of my family are.
I'll call it my Tackle-It-Tuesday-Monday

There are several purging/organization projects that I've been trying to get DH to help on and he just keeps rolling his eyes. I will make it happen tho

I will make it happen tho Luckily, my husband is very eye-rolly, but when push comes to shove ("PEOPLE ARE COMING IN TWO WEEKENDS AND NEXT WEEKEND WE ARE AWAY!") he steps up. And listens when I boss him around for two hours. Also, I found some flannel to sew into a bathrobe for M. Yahtzee!

I finally put w in overnight cloth for the first time in months (thanks to antibiotics, the need to finish almost too small overnights, then more antibiotics), and he's about to outgrow his fitteds with everything we have stuffed in it. I guess I'll be rethinking his overnight setup.

@criscosalad, I just realized today that I've been completely ignoring one of the heads of our department for the past 3 months...I completely forgot who he was.

Anyone want to know what happens when your 3 month old, who still has a startle reflex, rolls over consistently from back to front, even in a swaddle? And then starts the sleep regression?
NOTHING GOOD HAPPENS.

Yeah, he is our new ED and the old one was not well liked. I totally said "hi *voldemort!" to him this morning. He chuckled because he's a cool guy but yikes! *his name was not actually voldemort At least he has a sense of humor! In my defense, I'm still new here and am terrible with names/faces and never deal with management unless I have to.

Also it's been too warm - t sweats in anything more than a single layer but it's cooling down at night so maybe it would work now. If it's safe when they can roll. I'm trying the zipadeezip for nap right now but it's not great. He's still so little but so strong!

DH and I were talking about the fires in Napa and M asked what we were talking about. DH told her that there were big fires near Grandpa's house.
....
Oh, that was helpful right before bedtime.

It makes it really difficult for them to roll because of the way it holds their arms straight out to the sides. It isn't good to wear if they can roll while in it but if you have one I'd try it and see if he can or not.

He screamed when I put him in it but fell asleep e nursing after. We shall see how it goes ! Thanks for reminding me I had it.

There is a weekly winter playgroup hosted by the city that just started up for the season. It always takes everyone a little while to remember that it's going. So for the moment we have the whole place to ourselves.

I literally handed the wrong paycheck to a guy I've worked with for years. No idea why, I just thought for a second he was someone else. It's a running joke now, luckily he had a good sense of humor. When I first started working at my job, I had a seating chart for both floors so I could figure out who was who. Even then, I used to mix up two guys who both had very Irish names, even though they had completely different jobs, ages, and personalities. Their names didn't even sound alike, they were just both Irish-sounding.

My department and the meetings department share a google account. I forgot I was logged into it and started googling some stuff about power pumping. Yeah, it's showing up in the search history. I'm a hot mess. I had a similar experience last week... Thanks a lot, google.

I am tired of coughing so hard that I make myself vom. The last thing I need to worry about is possible aspiration pneumonia.
