Believe it or not, B is still in the bucket seat. But it is time to move him and I am trying to decide what to do.
Someone mentioned a few weeks ago about the car seats that turn into boosters. I checked some out the other day. Does anyone have any experience? Any recommendations?
I am toying with getting S new car seats that will grow with him to boosters and giving B S's old ones.
Any advice? Experience?

We just recently moved P into a Britax clicktight Frontier, and moved her Diono into the other car for DS.
It moves back and forth in seconds and will be a 5pt harness for a long time and then a high back booster.
She's tiny, so I think this will last us a LONG time.

We have the Graco 4Ever and I really like it. It is also easy to disassemble for cleaning for car vomits. I know that from experience.

ETA: we would have kept her in the Diono FF for a long time too, but we swap cars pretty frequently and the clicktight is so much easier to transfer.

I love Graco. They are easy to take apart and wash and install. I got M the Graco Transitions and use his old Forever and extend 2 fit for Jack. The transition is only like 120.

We don't need something that will transfer easily as I plan to buy 2 - 1 for each car. Comfort is key. Thankfully, S isn't a big vomit-er, so I'm not too worried about that.
FFMC? I have never taken his car seat apart to clean it. I've brushed off snacks but that's about it. Oops.
I will look into those. I had looked at the Saftey 1st Grow and Go 3 in 1 car seat this weekend.

I've heard safety brand is impossible to install. My SIL has one and HATES it.

I've never taken the covers off of any of ours. Knock on all wooden things, we've never had a "wet" accident biting an ill timed pouch nap and I just rubbed it with a wet towel.

My MIL has the graco transitions for H in her car. She got it on sale at BRU in the spring. It was easy to install and looks comfy to me.
ETA: I would absolutely give B the old seats and get S new ones. It's the smartest/most cost effective option. I would have done that if H was not still rear facing when S switched.
