A handyman on retainer is a real thing... that I need!!! All the sympathies. We are having a major bedtime battle that I thought we were past 😞 apparently not.

kcrkcs, I'm with you on the bedtime battles. For us it's with DD2 (4.5 years old). Last year there was a 3-4 month phase where she screamed between 30-90 minutes at bedtime complete with kicking her door and dresser and the wall, throwing herself on the ground, etc, every single night. It was horrible. I thought we were over it, but she has recently started in a milder form again. We are dealing with it fairly harshly because I simply cannot anymore.

WHY do my dds have to start fighting with each other every. single. time I am taking a poop? Just once I would love to have 5 minutes in the bathroom without yelling "YOU TWO STOP IT! Leave your sister alone!"

I've had a weird morning. S is away at a sleepover for starters, then my alarm went off at 7:45 because I forgot to turn it off, then M got up and had managed to get out of her pajamas. She handed me my glasses and the lens popped out. Got that fixed and came down to feed her breakfast. I was going to eat, but my stomach is still upset, I assume from partying too hard on Friday night with my sister.
I'm going to fold some laundry when she goes for her nap, and I some point I need to run over to my BFF's house to drop some things off.

Leave your sister alone!" Every single time here too. I always say too "Mommy is going to the bathroom. Please no fighting". And at least one kid comes in crying.

I don't know what's going on with dd2. Saturday night she was awake on and off, tossing and turning, and generally miserable from 3:30 on. Last night was more of the same, but it started at 1:30. I thought she maybe was feeling sick from the cold we've all had lately, but she doesn't seem very stuffed up or anything. It might be her canines, but those things have been coming in for ages now. I'm so so so so so so tired.

I wanted to punch H in the face last night. I went to bed early, turned on my sleep meditation thing, and was almost asleep when he came in and started talking to me. He fell asleep 10 minutes later, and I was left laying there wide awake.
