I'm so tired today! The brunch wedding took a lot out of me yesterday. Lue is super cranky. Hoping she naps soon and then I need to go get some fall basics for the kids.

Did they serve or was it a buffet style brunch? It was pretty good, buffet style. Cheesey potatoes, eggs benedict, crepes, sausage, bacon, fish, chicken, fruit, a ton of baked goods, ect. The crepes were by far my favorite! They also had mimosas and bloody Marys. |

My big girl goes to kindergarten today. She's so excited. It's going to be weird without her today. Cass is going to have a tough time missing her. We prepped last night by picking her outfit and laying it out so Cass wanted to do that too. She laid out her clothes, including her underwear, like a person on the ground and it looks creepy.

I didn't sleep at all last night. I'm exhausted. Mom is picking up my boys and meeting me to get their hair cut after work. We have Jack's 2 year pictures tomorrow. But the left over of Irma is supposed to start hitting us tonight so I'm sure everything will be soaked again. I may just try to get a mud puddle/fun shoot so I don't have to reschedule yet again. Speaking or the Hurricane, how is your community tgrimes ? |

Morning! Having mom guilt because i sent A to dc today with a mild fever. She's working on a cold but she was in a good mood and it's picture day...but will not be surprised if later in the day I'm called to pick her up. Don't feel guilty. You never know after some time passes it might get better. |

Morning!
B started preschool today, hooray! Not sure which of us was more excited--he went straight in and started playing with the trucks. I didn't even get a hug goodbye!
I got back from Charlotte late last night and need to catch up on some stuff this morning. The clothes hampers are all overflowing. :/

And it looks like we have a lot of "first day of schoolers", I hope all the kiddos have great days.
Ryland is in rare form this morning. He didn't want to get up, I had to hold him down to wrestle clothes on to him, and he's sitting at the table screaming at me: "I don't want to get up! I want to be asleep!"
Yeah, me too kid.

S didn't wake up this morning either. We finally pried him out of bed at like 7:45. He just kept saying he wanted to sleep more. Me too, kid. Me too. Good luck lahdeedah!! Cher as to home inspectors, I'd ask people in your area who you know bought a house recently so you can get true feedback as to how they are. |

Speaking or the Hurricane, how is your community tgrimes ? The clean up begins. You do not want to know what a house smells like after bayous have flooded it. Yuck. So many people have lost everything and it is heartbreaking. I brought all of M's old clothes to my coworker today so she can give it to her niece. I told her I didn't have time to go through it and separate out things by size so there may be stuff that's too small for her in there. She said it was fine because there's a girl at her church that just had a baby last week and they're currently in a shelter and have nothing. I'm just going to purge as much as I can and give it to my coworker. The people in her community got hit hard so I'm sure someone can use whatever we donate. |

klong11 What size leotard does Cadence wear now and what brand is it? Her gymnastics unitards are 6/6x or size Sm in Danskin brand. She could probably still wear her XS(4/5), but the shorts part rides up her butt and looks inappropriate. Don't need my kid's left butt cheek hanging out after a somersault.  Her dance leos are still 5Ts I believe. I get them off of Amazon, so the sizing/brand varies. |

Happy first days inthekitty and flamingo! It's picture day for N and she was adorable in her little romper. Ffmc: dressing girls is as fun as I thought it'd be. It's out 7th anniversary and totally seems like it. We were laughing that this is real life and what we signed up for. We didn't sleep last night (looking at you j, who came in and woke up n😣), mh has an interview so is stress central, and I haven't even gotten him a card. We did get salmon for dinner, but now realizing we have to cook and can't mail it in and go out. Oh well. |

inthekitty I hope the first day of Kdg is amazing! S made up for all your kids who didn't want to crawl out of bed....5:15 she was up and chipper as can be. Fat lip (from yesterdays tumble) and all! tallb Happy Anniversary! Also, re, dressing up girls...my weekend babysitter says that is her favorite part of the day. Picking out clothes and dressing S and fixing her hair. She is always putting her in the cutest outfits! A stylist I am not, so I love it when she puts an outfit together that I would not have thought of. She also does so good with fixing her hair cute!
